This series does a great job of running similar events but keeping things interesting each time. But my favorite is the fight with wardrobe near the end. Probably one of my favorite battles of all time. Well not the one she dies in the, the one at the HQ. I get my saves confused.

This story expanded way beyond what I expected from the first book in this series, and I was blown away by the first one. It is more emotional, epic, and downright hilarious than I expected. There is a fair amount of foul language, which is a little distracting for me. But the story overall is just so good.

Audiobook The Perfect Run 2 by Maxime J. Durand
The MC Ryan “Quicksave” is an amazing, well developed character. One of the best in-depth characters I’ve ever read. His particular brand of loneliness and coping mechanisms is so well done, and his slight madness is so wonderfully done and you understand him more and more as the trilogy develops. I can’t recommend it enough. That’s just the MC! The intrigues and other characters are wonderful and you get to know so many of them during Ryan’s “loops” to find the Perfect Run and save everyone. The story is fast pace and really exciting, it’s hard to stop reading.

Audio The Perfect Run 2 narrated by Eric Michael Summerer
With books like these, it can be very difficult to follow it up and still hold itself to the same standard the first novel (which was a hit) was. That being said, this one easily does so and more. Not once was I bored with this sequel and while I find it sad to see us nearing the end of the road for our dear Quicksave, I am happy to see he is still blazing along in our heads as he did when we were first introduced to him.

I cannot wait for the final book. The humor was great and some jokes had me laughing real good. It has been a while since i had so much fun reading a book.
