One Woman (Naked Trilogy #2)

Yeah I know, having tortured myself with her previous series, I knew this was coming BUT I swear this is the last time Im allowing myself to be sucked in, Lisa. Two months…Ill need to reread both books by then.
Would have 6stars for plot, character development & steamy love scenes if youd just publish one 600page book. How about try that sometime?

The book was very good but not many of the questions I had from book one were answered. Some of them were, but the ones that were answered pretty much just brought up more questions. Of course I wont spill any of them here, but to say that this book did forward the plot quite a bit. Jax and Emma are working together to try to figure out why her family wanted to get their hands on the castle and what really happened to Hunter North.

The romance between Jax and Emma certainly heats up now that they are staying at the Castle together, though I have to admit there was a little bit where I was getting sort of tired of them going back and forth with the should we be together or shouldnt we because my family hates your family. Emma would be fine one minute and then all of the sudden she would get it in her head that the family drama was too much and couldnt be overcome. Then Jax would have to talk her down again. Though I guess it generally did lead to more Intimacy which was quite steamy so it did serve a purpose.

Savage, the security specialist is quite the character in this book. I wonder if he will get his own book at some point. He is a total Alpha male who is not afraid to speak his mind. He certainly doesnt like Jill, the woman who works with Jax and was his brother Hunters fianc before he died. Savage is also protecting Emma from her Ex-boyfriend York who treated her very badly when they were together and tried to control her.

The book is continually bringing up conspiracies and mysteries as they try to solve Hunters death and every time they talk to different people it is obvious that the other people (such as Emmas brother Chance and his assistant Randall) know things but wont tell them so it is frustrating for the characters and me. But that is the beauty of the mystery and suspense. There is a huge cliffhanger, actually two big reveals at the end. So be warned. I cant wait to read on. Though I will have to since it isnt published yet. Darn…

MG! Lisa Renee Jones is such a master at writing romantic suspense. This was another captivating and intense story that will really pull you in. This sexy second installment One Woman starts off exactly where One Man left off and it is just as emotionally packed with secrets, power, danger, and passion as the first.

I loved getting to see all the intense heat, and passion that Emma and Jax have, as well as their warmth and intimacy for one another, as they fight for their connection. But their trust of one another is wavering and their trust is crucial if they are to survive the lies and danger that surround them. Although we do find out a lot more details. It will lead to more and more questions and concerns. Loved getting more of Savage and Walker Security as they strive to protect them.

With that being said, it is a Great Read! I am just so tired of Cliffhangers.. Can’t you just write one bi book and let be ?

One Woman is the second nook in the Naked Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. It builds on the relationship between Jax North and Emma Knight. Their chemistry together is intense filled with issues of trust.
Emma continues to question her relationship with Jax even though she feels the chemistry between them. Hes a strong independent woman that due to her past has trust issues. These issues are also compounded by the fact that the North family is an enemy of of Knight family. Wanting to see the good in both her brother and in Jax she continues to struggle with what is the best for her.
Jax has never let a woman get to him like Em a does. He knows what he wants and goes after it at all costs. Hes a fierce business man but has a heart of gold when it comes to his family and those who work for him.
The bond between Emma and Jax seems to get stronger throughout the story. But family secrets linger and those secrets could all but destroy them.
Lisa has done it again. She has written a love story full of twists and turns that will keep wondering what the final outcome e is. One Woman is filled with hot chemistry and suspense that will have you wanting more. Im looking forward to reading the conclusion of the Naked Trilogy with the release of Two Together.

I wish I could say I loved this book. Especially since I paid 12 bucks for it but I cant. The first book was pretty good. The second book was literally a book of the hero and heroine standing around JUST THINKING!!! Yes, you read that right. There is just page after page, after page of them standing around arguing in their heads at themselves. I care about him/her. I want to be together, but our families are enemies. Over and over. Ive never read such a repetitive book.
Third but left me so unfulfilled. So many threats, bad things happening, clues that never pan out. Nothing made any sense. Nothing!!!
