The title is ironic because the peace talks here actually turn into the most deadly fight of the century. All the world once again is left with is the unlikely wizard known as Dresden. Dresden has saved the world many times in the past but somehow the magician does not look to be the one on which people can rely at the time of need. He is clumsy and makes mistakes quite often but then out of mere luck he gets the job done on the rarest of occasions.

Here he is appointed as the magician who is charged with the duty to keep a watch on the procedure of the peace talks. Supernatural nations from the whole world have come to the meeting where they are deciding to put an end to the ongoing violence among them. The talk is of a serious type and one wrong move here by any nation can make everything collapse.
Dresden with the team of the White Council is there to protect the peace in the Peace Talks but as soon as the talk starts it appears that the supernatural nations are not in a mood to talk. They have gathered here to fight and the problem is that the battleground is once again Dresden’s beloved city i.e Chicago.
He just cannot allow anyone to destroy the peace of the town which he loves. Jim Butcher has done it again by creating a beauty like Storm Front and Fool Moon. Narration is done by James Marsters here who possesses a little shrill tone as compared to the demand of the scenes. But somehow this shrill tone has settled perfectly with Dresden’s character here.
