Play Hard to Get (The Parker Sisters #3)

Naomi’s a strong heroine, newly graduated and working as an intern in her small town newspaper office. She’s been getting lack luster assigns and has decided that she’s going to have to push to get herself noticed with an expose feature. She’s chosen a former athlete to investigate, going under cover in his strip club. A far departure from her normal conservative look of no makeup and modest clothes, she’s now dressed like a hooker, or so her sister and new brother in law tell her when they see the outfit she was in when she returned from her interview. Wow is the family going to go up in flames over this?!
Another really great, fun, sometimes scary, creative book from Lorhainne Eckhart. There’s even some great life lessons and a plot that you won’t want to put down. Such an entertaining book! Enjoy.

Naomi Parkers after the story of a lifetime, but she may be in over her head. When the man shes after steps in and saves her, she may have to rethink her priorities; especially when her family weighs in on her foolhardy actions. Although theres some bumps and bruises along the way, Naomi and Cameron begin to learn that trusting your heart is whats truly important.

This is a sweet romance with a bit of angst and some hard lessons learned, including how not to make judgements without knowing all the facts. Its a fast-paced roller coaster ride with a few twists and ups and downs thatll keep you involved to the very end.

Naomi is a reporter/intern for a newspaper, and she wants to follow up on a scandalous story from a year previously. She believes she will be the one to bring out the proof that businessman Cameron Donnelly is the monster and crook that he is reported to be. The way she goes about this is astounding. Naomi is naive, but arrogant, and not very likable as a character. This just makes the storyline more interesting. She annoys Cameron a lot, and yet, he finds her intriguing.

All the stories of the Parker sisters are fun and heartwarming. It is understandable that the reader would like longer tales of the sister’s lives, but the Author, Lorhainne Eckhart, packs a ton of emotions, feelings, passion, and details into her novellas. “Play Hard to Get” is a quick, unique, and entertaining read!

Entertaining. Lorhainne Eckhart is a must buy, must read author. This short read is easy to follow. No graphic violence or drag-you-down drama.

Believable characters with distinct personalities and realistic dialogue.

Unlike precious works in this series, Naomi’s story did not have any memorable moments or dialogue. I hope there are more stories to follow that will focus on her and Cameron.

No desire to re-read this story. I always look forward to works by this author.

It was good the characters are interesting.The story was like a story with no ending just leaves you wondering what happened.
