Deanna was a newscaster with a huge heart and her feelings openly displayed on her face. She felt peoples’ tragedies and cared enough to back off when she could see they were in pain. She would offer them support in the form of a shoulder to cry on or a touch of reassurance with her hand. This was Deanna, a girl with a heart. She aimed for a goal of her own talk show. She learned by apprenticing with Angela, the exact opposite of what she was, but she couldn’t see this. Angela, with her own talk show, knew that Deanna was a threat and did everything she could to undermine her. Angela would find peoples’ secrets and then use them (blackmail) to achieve her goal. Finn met Deanna and fell in love with her immediately. The problem…he had just ended things with Angela six months before. Angela wants revenge for the girl from Kansas who is slowly, but steadily rising in the TV ratings against Angela and for ‘taking Finn’ away from her. Add to this, a stalker who wants nothing more than to have Deanna love him as he loves her. He ‘eliminates’ anyone who hurts Deanna. Now, Deanna and Finn have announced their engagement publicly.
