I loved every aspect of this book, down to the smallest detail — from the gossipy citizens and a loveable, hilarious, meddling octogenarian to the most memorable wedding the good folks of Stratford have ever seen. With a dose of angst, a sprinkle of humor and a great big bunch of heart, this book held me captive from beginning to end. On the Rocks by Kandi Steiner completely stole my heart. It is a sweet southern slow burn romance, with just the right amount of angst & drama. Noah Becker is a barrel raiser and the quintessential southern gentleman. He was perfection and he made my heart melt. Ruby Grace Barnett is the Mayor’s daughter. She’s selfless, a little innocent, and a bit naive. Ruby is just kind of going along with the motions of how she feels her life is supposed to go, when she is reunited with the boy she used to sit behind in the church pew growing up. One of the things that I love about this story is how Noah sees her from day one in a way that no one else has ever seen her before. He helps her to see herself in a way that she was just trying to forget. The chemistry between Noah and Ruby is something else. They have this instant connection and unconditional love for one another at a soul level; it\’s beautiful. I loved these two so much! The side characters were all fantastic. I devoured this book and I can’t wait to see what’s going on with the rest of the Becker boys as the series continues. If Noah is any indication, Mama Becker raised some good boys! I loved this story, and I would highly recommend it! Kandi did not disappoint me one bit.

When Ruby Grace Barnett comes in to buy her fiancé a single barrel of whiskey she runs into Noah again. They haven’t seen each other in a while, but Ruby Grace sure has grown up from the little girl who used to kick the back of Noah’s pew in church. Something about Ruby Grace draws Noah in from the first time he listened to her sass at the distillery, and he knows she is engaged but he just can’t seem to stay away from her, nor can she stay away from him. As the summer rolls on and Ruby Grace and Noah spend more time together, they can both feel the spark between them. As Ruby Grace’s wedding draws nearer, and secrets are revealed she has to ask herself, is she ready to say goodbye to Noah Becker, or will she finally do something for herself? Every book I read by Kandi Steiner evokes so much emotion from me. Her books take you on such a journey, and I can’t turn the pages fast enough to find out what is going to happen next. I want to take my time reading her books, but I also want to read them so quickly because I need to know how things are going to turn out. Noah Becker is the hero all the girls are going to want! He is a little rough around the edges but the man has a heart of gold. This book kept me guessing from the beginning until the end. I’m so excited that this is just the beginning for the Becker brothers!!

You know when you read a new book and once in a while you think \’that was so refreshing, and amazing and and and…\’, well On The Rocks by Kandi Steiner was exactly that for me. The list of positive vibes it held and the twists you never expected had me so amped up I found it extremely hard to put down. Stratford is a town with a reputation for making some of the finest whiskey in Tennessee, that of which also has a major impact on the community. Noah Becker is known as a trouble maker, and upon meeting a particular little lady he had no idea just how much trouble he would be in. Once he realises the fact, he will stop at nothing to get what or whom he wants. Ruby Grace is a lovely, caring and very giving woman who finds herself in a rather big situation. Will she fight or let go of the only hope she\’s ever had? This book was so magical; the amount of times I found myself smiling while engrossed in the pages, or mentioning to friends how much I was enjoying it and the well thought out ending that really had my feels on overdrive was beyond amazing! I loved every minute of it and cannot wait for more in the future. It comes highly recommended.

I loved this book from the very first page to the very last one! On The Rocks is the first book in the Becker Brothers series where we follow Noah\’s story but we get to meet his amazing family of brothers and his adorable momma along the way which made me want to read their books to find out their stories as I completely fell in love with the Becker family. Noah is one hot cookie, just a shame he\’s not real 🙁 lol. 5 stars from me, I\’d highly recommend this book!
