Rodeo (Marked Skulls MC #2)

Rodeo is a member of the Marked Skulls MC. The MC just found out that their VP was shot in front of an apartment. There was a witness but she isnt talking. Jordan was standing at her front room window at 5:00 in the morning when she saw a man walking toward her apartment. He made eye contact with her but then she heard a motorcycle and the man ran. Next thing she knows the man on the motorcycle shot the man on the sidewalk. The man on the motorcycle was wearing a leather cut. He saw her. Rodeo decides he is going try and talk to the witness. He kicked her door in. Jordan was terrified and didnt even tell the police what she saw. When a man kicked her door in she was so terrified that he was going to kill her. Rodeo tries to calm Jordan down telling her he just wants information he wont kill her. There are sparks between Rodeo and Jordan. Rodeo decides to pleasure Jordan orally to calm her down. Jordan tells Rodeo what the man on the motorcycle looked like and she described the patch on his cut. Nobody could understand why the Hells Drifters MC has killed Fred the VP of the Marked Skulls MC. Rodeo develops feelings for Jordan and Jordan develops feelings for Rodeo. The Hells Drifters try to kidnap Jordan but Rodeo is there to save her. Will Rodeo find Freds killer? Will Rodeo find out why Hells Drifters killed Fred? Will Jordan and Rodeo ever figure out their feelings for each other? Will Rodeo and Jordan ever get a happy ever after?

Rodeo and Jordan’s story was certainly more interesting and fast paced than Girth and Lila’s!

Loved Rodeo’s bachelor attitude that he didn’t need love, just use women for one thing, but he found himself questioning his own rules after he broke the door down at Jordan’s apartment to get her to tell him what she saw happen on the street corner that morning.

Fred, an older member of the Marked Skulls MC, was well liked, and was special to Rodeo, and he was murdered at the corner near Jordan’s building by a guy on a motorcycle. The police couldn’t get Jordan to say anything, more from fear than any other reason because she knew the guy on the motorcycle saw her in the window when he drove by and shot Fred down.

Rodeo is drawn to her, and is surprised by that. Jordon is attracted to Rodeo but doesn’t trust anyone, and he is also a biker.

The storyline is tense, and gripping, but does end well for Rodeo and Jordan, with a few surprises thrown in!

I love this author and have read most of her books. If this series is new for you, you might want to check out her others… while this book was good she has much better. My only complaint is during a sex scene she might want to extend her vocabulary… I’m no prude so dirty sex scenes don’t bother me in the least but she could have used more than one word over and over again… that being said I did like everything else including the plot… can’t wait for the next one

Great chemistry between Jordan and Rodeo. He was a member of Marked Skulls MC, a friend and club brother Fred was just killed outside of Jordan’s apartment. She saw it happen while she was looking out the window so she also saw the killer, a member of a rival MC. Rodeo felt she was in danger and tried to watch her as much as he could. But he didn’t do relationships and tried to stay away. Fred had some secrets and Rodeo was determined to find out what they were. Great read!

They keep getting better. I had to binge read the series!
