Rose Petal Graves (The Lost Clan #1)

I am a huge fan of Karen Lynch and receive her email updates. I love her Relentless and Fae Games series. So when she recommended this series written by her friend, I decided to give it a try. It is very different from Ms. Lynch’s writing but I was quickly swept away by this magical tale. Not for the faint hearted – it’s not a children’s book. But for adults or older YA audiences this book is perfect. History, romance, suspense, murder and fantasy are woven together in an incredible tale that has me writing this review and buying the next book in the series before I have even finished the audio book. With four hours remaining, it only gets better with each chapter. No spoilers here – you will have to read it yourself! It’s brilliant. This book was ok. It was not the worst book I ever read, but I didn’t love it either. I doubt I will ever listen to it again. I didn’t love the characters. But I felt that the book was creative. Please keep in mind that I am a little older then the target audience.

This book was wonderfully narrated. I\’d never listened to Stephanie Fritz before, but I really enjoyed her voice. I love everything faerie so this was right up my alley. Will listen to more from Fritz.

Stephanie G Fritz is an excellent narrator. She made the story come alive! It was very easy to follow which character was which, and very easy to get lost in the story. Her technical skills are impressive. She seemed to have siblings overlap voices as they might in real life. Great storytelling! The story was well written with a clear story line. As an almost-senior-citizen, this may not be the genre for me.

Wow! Completely different from what I’m used to reading or listening to. This author is new to me. Now she has a new fan so far. This book had me from the beginning to the end and in which you are left with a cliffhanger. Definitely recommend and worth it.
