Royal Elite Epilogue (Royal Elite #7)

What an amazing way to wrap up a series… a journey through time to see where these couples that we have all become so attached to end up. Through engagements, weddings, babies and friendship; I cannot say how absolutely wonderful this Epilogue is! Seriously, you\’ll laugh, you\’ll swoon and you\’ll fall back in love with Levi, Astrid, Aiden, Elsa, Kim, Xander, Ronan, Teal, Cole & Silver one more time. The Royal Elite Series is one of my absolute favorites… my first read from Rina Kent & although it is bittersweet to see this series ending I am so excited for what\’s to come next from RK.

The Royal Elite Epilogue is the PERFECT conclusion to the series that we\’ll never forget and always adore! With each charming and sexy vignette, Rina perfectly encapsulates the chemistry that makes each couple so dynamic and unique- and even though we\’re exploring their stories after they\’ve each found their HEA, she still captures that manic, intense, and consuming romantic energy that makes these stories and characters so addictive. Every couple\’s portions inspire nostalgia while also giving us small windows into their story progression. The stories are light but emotionally intense and intimate- and so very satisfying. I\’m nowhere close to being ready to saying goodbye, but this epilogue is a precious gift that soothes that farewell ache and reminds me just why I\’ll come back again and again to live in this world forever. Hands down one of my favorite series of all time- there is nothing like it. Thank you Rina for the beautiful, twisted, turbulent, and emotional journey- it will always hold a special place in my heart.

If you loved the Royal Elite couples, this book will squeeze your heart all over again. Rina Kent writes super possessive, attentive, hilarious men like no other. I fell in love AGAIN with these characters and Rina\’s writing, I think I always will. Some scenes in this epilogue readers will have seen before, but I don\’t even care. I just don\’t want it to ever end! The true love and freaking romantic scenes between these 5 couples will bring a smile to your face. To be able to see parts of their happily ever after and confirm that they are all just as in love as adults as they were as teens was everything to this romantic heart of mine. I haven\’t read the Kingdom Duet yet, although I am hoping to by the end of the year. But I appreciated Jonathan and Aurora\’s mentions and text cameos being included as well. Highly recommend this series and this epilogue is a MUST!

Short but sweet and slightly hard to follow due the the chapters going back and forth by couple. I had a hard time keeping track of the individual stories based on the couples going from proposal to group chats. I wished the arrangement of the chapters were sequential based on the couples rather than theme ( proposal, wedding, honeymoon pregnancy etc). And I have to admit, I was disappointed that Aurora didn’t get her own pregnancy chapter…… it would have been a great surprise to see Aurora and Jonathan have a baby of their own.

I will tell you it is often hard for me to read books that are done in a series especially when we are following the same characters around. This was not the case for this series. Unlike series like Lord of the Rings where there is a story progression that moves the series along, here there were different stories that intertwined. A character\’s reaction is explained in another book or a particular issue is explained deeper later. This keeps the books fresh and interesting because you are not following the same characters and usually watching the characters devolve to 2D. These books study different aspects of the characters in each book giving you a deeper glimpse of characters that had been on the outside previously. The only criticism I have for this series is that Elsa and Aiden\’s story could have been edited down to 2 books instead of 3.
