This is the first book I listened to from this series so I wasn’t sure what to expect, what caught my attention is that it’s best friends to lovers story who also happens to be an alpha and an omega. I’m not much of an omegaverse or an mpreg romance reader, but this one really impressed me. The fact that Colin isn’t the typical omega that’s usually portrayed is what endeared him to me. He fights the societal and traditional stereotype for what’s expected of an omega. He proved himself that his genes won’t hold him back from being the best in his field. He’s even unapologetic about owning his strong aversion for having kids. Then, we have Ed. Ed who despite loving his best friend, was stuck in the 1880s with his mindset. He is probably the most frustrating character in this story. I didn’t like him. With his mess ups, he surely didn’t deserve Colin. ? And why are the alphas, at least the team, the biggest jerks? They could all model for issues of toxic masculinity. With all these being said, I was quite invested in the story. I wanted the HEA, it’s romance after all. And I like how Ed’s issues got addressed and the process of working through it. It’s relevant and realistic. I also liked that the various conflict resolution weren’t all tied in a big pretty hurried bow. I’m going to back track to the previous books now, seems like Mal’s story is pretty interesting too. Austin Jay’s narration is decent, I finished an 8-hour book, after all. I wish he’d develop more range of character voices, to make each character more distinct, specially if they’re the major characters. ? **thanks to GRR for the opportunity to listen and review**

I love this series and the characters. I get so wrapped up in this that I forget what’s going on around me. The narrator does a great job with bringing the characters to life.

Audiobook Seal of Love (An MPREG Romance) by Aiden Bates
Ed and Colin have been best friends for years and are now thrown together when Colin, a journalist, is given an assignment to infiltrate the SEALs team that Ed is a part of. Overall it was a good story but I felt like Colin also needed to deal with his issues and compromise a bit. It seemed like everything was against ED and he was the only one that needed to completely adjust his attitude and way of being. Just a bit one sided in my opinion. I will, however, keep listening to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

Audio Seal of Love (An MPREG Romance) narrated by Austin Jay
This drove me crazy. There were so many politics that got in the way of the romance. There was no build up. After a lifetime of being in love with each other, there\’s no conversation to iron out details. There\’s no meeting halfway. BFF\’s from birth don\’t treat each other the way they did. None of the story was believable to me and was difficult to get through.

Aiden Bates delivers another good story, of love, hardship and babies. The characters were really well built up, from their back stories, to their hang ups. I really liked the direction the story took on a lot of the themes in the story. It touched on issues that feel really relevant to families in real life, and it was something i had never thought about from an MPreg fiction before. The story was amusing, and spicy and had lots of fantastic characters that made the whole story that much better. The dialogue was strong, and the scenes built up well throughout the story. the knowledge and research behind the scenes is obvious and it was fun to learn about some of the different things. The narration was great! It was crisp and clear from the start. I never had any issues with knowing who was talking or what was going on. The enthusiasm of the narration kept me so interested I couldn’t put the story down. overall the story was good and i look forward to the next one.
