I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Maddox had been exposed to some bad sh!t from an early age..death…betrayal. He\’s found a home at St. Skin, a well known Tattoo Shop. Tate, the owner of the shop, has brought in a photographer to show St. Skin\’s story in pictures. It\’s less invading than a video camera, which the guys flat out rejected. The crew isn\’t too happy having their pictures taken either, especially Maddox. What he is interested in, is the photographer Hazel. Hazel has lived a life of ups and downs, unfortunately she\’s seen more downs than ups, and Maddox picks up on this rather quickly. As much as Maddox would like to dismiss her, he can\’t. He sees a kindred spirit in her. She\’s broken, like him, but maybe more so. Maddox is a man who keeps his thoughts and emotions to himself. He is strong, protective and fiercely loyal. He\’s faced tragedy and betrayal, vowing to never love again. Hazel has trust issues when it comes to men. Maddox is all man and he is determined to prove that to her. There\’s nothing he wouldn\’t give or do for Hazel. It seems the man, who vowed to never love again, is slowly breaking his promise to himself. Even though Maddox has had his share of nightmares, they are just distant memories now. Hazel\’s nightmares are actively a part of her life from which she\’s distancing herself…or so she thought. Maddox has a life to live and there is no going back. The past is done, finished, and nothing will change it. He will move on. Hazel? She can\’t move on and she can\’t go back. She is in limbo, just existing. Hazel needs someone to make her whole again, piece by piece. OH. MY. GOD. THIS BOOK IS AMAZING ! SO MUCH VIVID DETAIL, IT PLAYED OUT LIKE A MOVIE IN MY HEAD ! THIS IS A VERY COMPELLING STORY, LONDON AND JAXSON ARE KILLING IT WITH THIS SERIES ! ! ! Each paragraph propelling you into the next. This story is deep. It has substance. AN ABUNDANCE OF EMOTION AND HARD DRIVING CHEMISTRY BETWEEN MADDOX AND HAZEL ! ! ! ROUGH, WILD, BREAK THE BED SEX ! ! ! Invisible ties that bind them together, as if they were connected all along. Fate. DID I LIKE THIS BOOK ? (YES) OR NO I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT ! ! ! IF YOU HAVEN\’T STARTED THIS SERIES, YOU NEED TO ASAP ! ! !

I voluntarily read and ARC of Secret Exposure in exchange for an honest review. I say it time and again, I cannot be any more honest than to say the writing duo of Jaxson Kidman and London Casey (Karolyn James) continues to deliver gritty, heart wrenching storylines, and characters that we can all relate to. The St. Skin series just keeps getting better an better with each book in the series, and Maddox and Hazel\’s story is one of the best so far. They are two people that rub each other the wrong way – at first – but they are two people that connect on a level most people don\’t. They each have secrets and trust issues, and a lot to overcome to be together. This story is from the heart, from life experiences, and makes the outcome that much more triumphant for Maddox and Hazel, and the St. Skin family to date. I was hooked from the first page, and couldn\’t put this book down! Don\’t miss another great addition to the St. Skin series!

Audiobook Secret Exposure (St. Skin #3) by Casey London Jaxson Kidman
Jaxson Kidman and London Casey approached very difficult and sensitive topics with respect and care. They painted a storyboard that I walked into and felt like I was living it. Although it brought up old skeletons, it allowed me to face those memories and put them to bed or at least say goodbye for now. The writing in this story is beautiful. The characters are believable. Hazel is a frightened, creative strong, independent woman that is unaware of her own power until she meets Maddox. Maddox is a brute that is unaware of his gentler side until her meets Hazel. I enjoyed this journey the two of them take together. How their lives are intermingled, and how they strengthen one another. I can\’t wait to read how the St. Skin series continues to branch out. I so look forward to the next one already!

Audio Secret Exposure (St. Skin #3) narrated by :Kyle Mason Jennifer Stark
There are two secrets to a good book as far as I\’m concerned. One of those secrets is the author\’s ability to make me FEEL like I am one of the characters or so invested that I begin to feel for them. In all honesty, this is one of those books. I don\’t like to do spoilers. In fact, you have to read this book to completely understand the emotional draw that it creates. It does deal with some very heavy subjects that if you are squeamish you should avoid. Abuse, suicide, and perhaps even self realization. I do believe that this book handles those topics with an air of hope at the end rather than unrealistic recovery. This book would make my top 5 ever.

Maddox works at St Skin. The tattoo parlor has become a viral sensation and everyone wants a piece of it. So Tate, the owner hires Hazel, a photographer to tell their story through pictures. But Maddox wants no part of it. He had had a lot of tragedy in his life and he doesn\’t want to share with anyone. Especially a photographer who is always in his way. Hazel has also had a lot of tragedy in her life and she hides behind the camera so no one knows. Behind the camera she can catch people as they really are. And when she photographs Maddox she can see his pain. He tries to keep away from her but they get close. They both have secrets. But neither one of them would ever guess how their lives were so connected. This story has it all. Heartache, tragedy, sexy, funny but it also has a HEA. One of the best in the St. Skin series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
