Seduction in Death is a suspenseful mystery-thriller novel. It is the 13^th chapter in the In Death novel series. The author of this book is J. D. Robb. When it comes to writing murder mystery stories and romance, she is second to none. For her romance novels, she is famously known as Nora Roberts. She has plenty of excellent novels in her archives where Faithless in Death is one of them. Moreover, she also got a lot of appreciation for her Forgotten in Death novel.

The narration of this chapter is done by Susan Ericksen. The narrator did a fantastic job with the rich characters while bringing this story to life. However, in this story, it seemed that the narrator changed her voice for the same characters in this series. This was slightly distracting for the audience.

The murder weapon used here was a rare and normally undetectable date-rape type of drug that comes with a street value nearing quarter-million dollars.

Lt. Eve Dallas is just playing and replaying all of the clues that were in her mind. The music, the candlelight, and the special strewn of the rose petals across the bed. A seduction that was actually meant for his benefit and not exactly for hers. He had no intention of killing her at all. But now that he has so he has got only two choices with himself. He could either hole up in extreme guilt and fear or just start hunting once again.
