I just finished reading “Setting Free the Kites” and absolutely LOVED it. Back in 2012, I read “The Good American” by Alex George and thoroughly enjoyed that book. I occasionally checked Amazon.com to see if Alex George had published his second book and have been patiently waiting its arrival. That day has come!! The characters in this book are so real that I felt like I was a part of their lives. I felt so emotionally invested in this book. I tried to read slowly so I wouldn’t finish it too quickly. Now my only question is “are you working on your third novel now”? Please hurry!!

So was looking forward to a new book by this author. I totally loved his last brook, A Good American, and unfortunately the story in this book was just ok if not depressing. Maybe maybe not read another book by this author, I will not blindly order without some research.
