Wow! My first audio by this narrator and let me just say, I am totally in love with his voice. Its completely swoon worthy! He gave the characters a deeper emotion and connection than I would have experienced had I been reading this book. There was a time or two that the dialogue between two characters were indistinguishable, but it was very brief and didnt hinder my enjoyment at all.

This was so much more than what I was expecting. It was filled with tons of emotions and even more personal angst for both Danica and Blake, as well as secondary characters. While it centers around both the heros and heroines journey to change themselves, it is Danica that has the true awakening. Although Blake definitely makes the most lifestyle change thanks in part to the impact Danica has upon him.

At the epicenter of it all is the attraction Danica and Blake share and yet they are unable to act upon it. The slow progression of their attraction to something more was perfect for their story making this a bit of a slow burn.

I loved getting to know this couple. Danica was broken in her own way, just as Blake was. Watching her find herself was absolutely beautiful. Blake was a bit harder to accept, at least in the beginning. But as he began to dig deeper and fight against his tried and true methods of self-soothing, my heart slowly began to open up to him, just as Danicas did. And when he finally finds himself free from the shackles he has placed upon himself, he was wonderful.

I would have loved to have more together time with Danica and Blake as a couple but Im hoping to see them again in the next book.

This was a great audiobook narrated by B J Harrison. I wondered how it would sound with a male reading all the characters but Mr. Harrison alleviated those fears immediately bringing each character to life. Each character was easy to differentiate.
Blake Carter is Acroski shop owner and self-proclaimed womanizer. When he accidentally elbows Danica in the nose while waiting in line for coffee, Danica decides even though he is gorgeous she wants nothing to do with him. Blake however cant get the beautiful woman off his mind. I loved the dynamic between these two characters. The internal conflict that both Danica & Blake have, kept me listening long after I should have gone to bed. I think the secondary characters in this novel add a lot of color to the story as well. I highly recommend this audiobook.

I listened to this book, Sisters in Love by Melissa Foster as an audiobook narrated by B.J. Harrison. This audiobook is a great introduction into the Love in Bloom series. I enjoyed the story of Danica Snow and Blake Carter and of course getting to know all their friends especially Danicas sister Kaylie. There was a lot going on in this book for our hero and heroine, but they both dealt with their challenges and definitely deserve their chance to be together. This definitely has me looking forward to our next visit to the Love in Bloom world. I thought that B.J. Harrison did a good job with narrating this book, especially with all the different characters. I would definitely listen to him narrating another audiobook.

I loved reading book #1 in this series, can’t wait to read the rest.

Audiobook

I have finally gone back to the beginning of where this series all started! The Snow Sisters. I started the Love in Bloom Series by Melissa in the Seaside Summers spin off and I have continued to follow her new releases but never had a moment to go back to the start. Sisters in Love is book one in the Snow Sisters series and book one in the huge Love in Bloom universe from Melissa.

The Story:
Sisters in Love is a quick, fun read full of romance, love, and close family. Danica Snow is a therapist and our guy Blake Carter is a player with no desire to settle down but after the sudden death of his best friend and business partner, he realises he needs to change his womanising way but has no idea where to start. After a brief meeting with Danica in a coffee shop, he had no idea that she was about to become his therapist! Danica doesn’t want to risk her career, but it is clear that the attraction between this is red hot – but can a player really change his ways? Can Danica trust a guy like Blake? You will just need to read on to find out

The Narrator:
BJ Harrison did a great job, (though I am not entirely convinced with his female voices). He did switch seamlessly between characters and did manage to convey the emotions of the characters, but once I got into the book and listened to him more he grew on me
