Summoner 6 (Summoner #6)

This is another great installment in this series. The story is expanding and the danger growing. Joshua Story does an excellent job narrating and bring it to life.

I love this series and cannot await for it to continue. Joshua Story is an amazing narrator with a wide range of voices to bring the story to life.

This is a fun story to listen to and enjoy for what it is, a good old hero story. My only complaint is the MC monologuing, and tough-guy comments in dangerous situations. He acts basically like an idiot and makes me want to facepalm every time. If the author reads these reviews please do not make the MC such an impulsive idiot. The strength of the story or my favorite parts is the summoning fights. Too bad, there are not more of them.

first of all this is the sixth book so I\’m pretty invested so I\’ll say this, the books are enjoyable but this will be my last one and here are my reasons. 1. The MC!! Griff is the biggest problem. He\’s dumb basically. He wins at everything always even though he never thinks in any situation, every girl that walks by him is instantly in love with him and wants to jump his heroic bones. There\’s just no depth to the character. Hes a bleeding heart with a member. 2. The books feel like they were translated from another language, one of the characters literally says \”shredded to smithereens\” and there are a literal legion of other things like this. 3. Gwayne is the only character in this series that has had any character development. 4. There are a multitude of women around Griff at all times and they are basically portrayed as useless. The only person who can ever do anything cool is Griff adding to the 10 year old power fantasy.
