Tequila Burn (The Tequila Duet #2)

The intertwining of lives. Who doesnt love music and romance. But with the added intrigue of the other woman. And what is so shameful is that woman do this to other women all the time. Sorry ladies but men dont react like that…..so for me reading about this woman Annabelle, ( I wanted to slap her up side down and stomp on her, she knew what she was doing, and for that she deserves being knocked out). Yes he was wonderful, but I understand her also. He should have been great full that his girl didnt flatten her out, but he should have told her to back off and made sure she understood where he was coming from in the first place. Oh my can you tell this story hit my buttons, that is why I found it so relatable.

Hudson and Lennon own a piece of me. Just give me a minute while I recover from this amazing, soul searing, I can’t function read. This whole duet needs to be read. I went through an array of emotions throughout it and would not change it for anything. Yes there were times in Tequila Burn that I just put down the kindle and walked away. It’s that good. I literally had to stop myself from becoming and emotional mess before putting my kids on the school bus this morning. I never wanted Tequila Burn to end. I love Hudson and Lennon so much. You really do pick up right where Tequila Haze left off. You see the relationship grow. The struggles of trust. The beauty of the power of love. Hudson and Lennon continue to sizzle. As you read on you wonder if they are strong enough for the road. Lennon may have her own issues and things happen that make you want to just hold her tight and tell her to keep strong. But you know what I think in the long run everything that Hudson and Lennon went through needed to happen to make them become even stronger together in the end. If you haven’t read Tequila Haze yet you need to do so. THIS BOOK NEEDS TO BE READ. THIS DUET IS A MUST READ. It’s a beautiful, heart and soul searing love story that I couldn’t put down.

The next chapter of Hudson and Lennon story. Wow just like the first book we have Hudson and Lennon still trying to find that place where they can love one another with all the drama and hardships that fame brings with it. And the misunderstanding too. But I just have to say without given too much info that their story took me to so many places and possiblity that if you love with all your heart that anything is possible as long you have that person by your side. It was just so heartwarming and heartbroken too but still a lovely read.

Hudson and Lennon’s love story continues with more bumps in the road. I still believe Hudson is the epitome of a sexy boyfriend. That being said his unawareness of a certain relationship rubbing Lennon the wrong way really captures the true nature of the male species 😉 I also fault Lennon’s inability to freely express herself. I really enjoyed their relationship and the love they shared for one another. Great book and characters.

Lennon is prepared to stand by her man but when his secret is revealed she is left reeling. She doesnt know what the truth is or if she can trust Holden. She was prepared to end their relationship until her best friend convinces her that she at least has to listen to him.

They manage to move forward with their relationship however it is only a matter of time before he goes on tour again. When they are together they couldnt be any happier but when they are apart the doubt and insecurities set in.

I loved Lennon and Hudson together. Their journey is full of drama and angst but the ending makes it all worthwhile.
