It is a pity that this book has been abridged. The story is disjointed and doesn\’t flow properly, and a lot of important information has been hacked out. What remains is the bleeding corpse of a novel. I sincerely hope that the publishers produce an unabridged version of this book. The author deserves better than what he got with this hack job. Having said that, the pace and general plot seem to have survived somehow.
