The Bunny Is Coming by Tara Sivec is the latest novella in her Holiday Series. We join Sam and Noel for their second Easter together. Will they have a traditional holiday for a change? You know that cant happen with Reggie and Bev for in-laws and Aunt Bobbie living at their house because the in-laws need a break for a while.

Reggie Noels dad is putting up his out-of-this-world holiday decorations that scare the neighborhood kids. In Reggies defense, he is trying to make a statement with the holiday dcor.

Bev Noels mom has a new pet pig that disrupts family gatherings and causes conflict with her husband who thinks Bacon isnt just his name but their goal to turn the pig into dinner.

Noel tries to give Sam a loving Easter egg hunt that turns into a disaster thanks to her drunk friends, Scheva and Alex.

I love Sam and Noel. They are an average couple with a crazy family. The support characters are a hoot. They all add so much to the story and show how a couple can have crazy family who loves each other completely.

Once again, Tara gives us a lot of meat in a novella. I dont know how she can pack so much into so few pages and it all works. There are character and relationship development with a story that is sweet and laugh out loud funny. Her ability to turn annual holidays into comedies that touch the readers hearts is a real gift. I love it because even though this family is so out there many of us can relate. Maybe our families dont take holidays to the same extremes, but we can relate to family holiday issues.

I highly recommend The Bunny Is Coming and the entire holiday series. It is a light-hearted commentary on relationships and the many faces of love. Have a box of tissues close because you will laugh so hard you will cry. This book is a happy story that you wont forget. Thank you, Tara Sivec. I pray that you will continue Sam and Noels story for a few more holidays.

To say that this series is one of the best ever is an understatement for me. I could not love the Holiday series more. Sam and Noel and their crazy family are always laugh out loud funny. I usually have tears streaming down my face I laugh so hard. The Bunny is Coming keeps to that tradition. I laughed out loud throughout the story. I also got choked up also. As always this family has lots of love and lots of bat sh*t crazy that makes this series so unbelievably great and enjoyable. If you have not ever read this series before it truly is a MUST read. This is book 4 and while technically you could read it as a standalone I guess I really recommend starting with the first book because you will appreciate the hilarity that ensues in this book and each of the other books so much more. Sam and Noel have some very sexy times together that are quite hot as well. The Bunny is Coming is Tara Sivec at her very best. This newest novella featuring the Holiday family is the perfect palate cleanser when you need a break from heavier storylines.

I cracked up at every single page, finding it hard to stay quiet at the antics of crazy Aunt Bobbie, the never-ending squabbling between Reggie and Bev and their newest addition, Bacon, and of course the best friend in Alex who just wants anal and a threesome from his girlfriend. Add an Easter egg hunt gone bad and you have the very crazy mind that is Tara Sivec.

Sam and Noel have a surprise of their own and their attempts at some intimacy is forever thwarted by the bad timing of her insane family.

I have loved this crew from the start and hope we continue to get glimpses into their wild and crazy lives.

What an amazing laugh your ass off novella series! I had so much fun this week reading these books. Sam and Noel have serious communication issues in each book and they can’t seem to learn from their mistakes but honestly who cares because it creates a setup for over the top dramatic comedy that I just can’t get enough of. Tara Sivec is a comedic genius! The jokes may be a bit crude but I absolutely loved it. Who doesn’t love jokes that inlcude “Peep sugar shmegma! Seriously if you have not read this series you are missing out!

Im actually quite sad that we are so close to the end of this series. Im hoping that eventually Tara will give us more of this craziness, but in the meantime I will re-read these books whenever I need to laugh so hard that I cry and nearly pee my pants. Every single character, except for Noel and Sam of course, were out of control. This crazy family is one of a kind and I absolutely love reading about their antics and Sam and Noels love story. They are so perfect as a couple.
