Pretty good history of a real world hero and his loved ones. And his mates. But writing not as sharp and good as this individual deserves. Still worth the read and enjoyed the Australian history.

Audiobook The Commando by Ben Mckelvey
I liked getting to know this man, from his school days, till when he joined the army and 2 Commando Regiment and was deployed to Afghanistan where he was sadly killed in a heated battle in a village. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the War in Afghanistan from an Australian Commandos perspective.

Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys a realistic account of all aspects of this on going and never to be finished war. Either a very brave,team orientated leader , but showing how hard it must be to reassimilate back into life, after such extreme experiences. Making it easier to go back for another rotation. His and others bravery help make Australia what it is.
