In a dejected condition, the man started to spend more time in his empty office with nothing to do.

Finally, Strike gets a big case that allows him to enter into the world of glamour. He knows if he solves it, his problems would also be solved but the case gets twisted and the situation gets nasty for everyone. The other two parts The Silkworm and Career of Evil have separate stories in them but they don’t have the personal history of Strike which this book possesses. Anyone interested in starting the series should start it with number one after which you can select any number of your liking.
