It is skillfully written by Diana Gabaldon who has impressed the audience with many fictional fantasy novels. If you want to check out her best work then Seven Stones to Stand or Fall and Dragonfly in Amber are her best novels.
Davina Porter’s name is enough to endorse quality in audio performance. She was stunning in her performance with a strong voice and expression.

The novel is set in the year 1771. It was the time when Claire was still an outlander. She was totally out of place and time. But, she is now hooked by loving her beloved, Jamie Fraser. They have crossed many oceans and even centuries to build their life together in North Carolina. However, there were ancient and recent tensions that were still threatening different members of their clan.
James should believe Claire after knowing that his wife is blessed with the amazing gift of prophecy. But, he prefers not to believe that. Claire has come up with a terrible truth now. It was about the imminent war. Her knowledge about the upcoming revolution was more of a wavering torch that could light his way through many hazardous years ahead. This also had the potential to explode a fire which could leave their lives in ashes.
Revealing too much about this novel in this review would be a spoiler. It has some amazing twists and turns. You need to check this out yourself to have a wonderful literary time. Diana Gabaldon for her writing and Davina Porter for her performance deserves all the praise.
