Im actually glad that I got a chance to read this book before The Girl Next Door comes out July 21st. Now thats one book I cant wait to come out. Because after reading this now I am more than curious than I was before.
I mean mistakes happens; especially when you are in the moment. I mean its both their faults lol even if she did may forget to take her birth control pill lol. Like who knows; but I know one thing for sure. Kai more than like her and going to be a father to her kid and going to want to date her to more than date her marriage even if its fake. Which more likely going to turn into something real.
I know that Amanda with the twin boys about to be mad as a cucumber about Kai and Ivy having a baby On the way to getting married even if it was fake in the being… plus Vincent going to be happy for them.
Also; cant wait until Ivy grandmother finds out. Because I am curious about that lady and her thoughts on things. Plus; her friend Tori (Ivys) friend I bet she going to either laugh or say I told you so or just both. Shes also a person I am curious about and what shell think of Ivy and Kai one night stand…

i gotta say … what is that? well if you are not reading Emma Hart’s books … u just gotta start. i remember … i think it was on my FB bloggy page … i said HEY is there an AUTHOR that you would totally recommend to me .. right now … go??! i wish i could hug (i know … social distancing, but give this girl a pat on the back, best decision or thought ever …she did suggest Emma’s book, thank the book heavens i did listen. PLEASE, listen to this. if u have never read Emma’s books before … please start now. thx!!) great cover. so fun. great read. & it is FREE right now. i love this humor. Emma will always give ya HUMOR!! laughs. lots and lots of laughs!! be aware of what you are eating or drinking … because it will come out your nose or mouth … because you will be laughing … how does EMMA come up with this stuff?? how?????!!!!

THE ONE NIGHT STAND NEXT DOOR #1 is a prequel to the big story to come. It is a tease to get you interested so there is no end with this book. It is sexy if that is an issue for you. It is very short so it is hard to say anything without giving things away.
Living in a big apartment building the heroine is a good girl. No one-night stands or casual sex for her. Her next door neighbor is one sexy dude and she does think about it but would never act on those thoughts. An elderly man in the building is having a big birthday party for his 80th. Everyone in the building is invited and he has promised a lot of Tequila. She doesn’t really want to go but she almost has to. She leaves the apartment just as her neighbor is coming out and they go to a friendly dinner together and then return to the party.
She drinks way too much and when he invites her back to his place she is very tempted. But does she go? Read the book to find out how this story goes. Just know this is one sexy hunk and he rarely takes no for an answer.

Rom-Coms for the win!!! The Girl Next Door another great Rom-com offering from the talented Emma Hart.
Ivy she a little bit overly dramatic but I love her. She is so right if book worms were not reading, we would rule the world. I love her sassy. I love her spunk. Her moments of self-doubt are relatable. Circumstances can sometimes lead to false feelings, but I am so glad the ice cream helped and moved her forward.
Kai is swoon worthy and sexy. I loved how Ivy thinks God gave all the beauty that day to Kai. He is truly a good guy! I really liked him and his acceptance of Ivy and her schemes. I love the care and effort he puts in to being a part of things with Ivy even when she resist.
One-Night Stand + No Condom + Neighbor = Not the best idea. Ending up pregnant from said one night stand lead to so many great moments in this story. Seriously.
I cant wait to visit more of the Bookworm world. The Grandma is a hoot I imagine that the other grands are going to lead to so many laughs.
In true Emma Hart fashion create story line movement, wonderful banter and laugh out loud moments. If you love a surprise baby romcom this is a must read. This was a 4/5 read for me. I really just wanted more of Ivys revelations to accept Kai and his feelings.

Such a sexy tease of a story! This short and not-so-sweet prequel will take you less than an hour to read, but it sets up the story perfectly. Hart gives us a feel for this couple and how things were supposed to go between them… before life gets in the way. It’s light, very steamy, and at just 40 pages in length, it doesn’t waste any time getting right into the action.
The story introduces Ivy and Kai, neighbors who have been flirty but have never crossed the line into more. While Ivy acknowledges that Kai is sexy, she also knows that sleeping with your neighbor is a terrible idea (just think of the morning after), so she’s never seriously entertained the idea. When they share one alcohol-fueled night together, that all changes. But actions have consequences, and their one night soon turns into something else entirely.
I always enjoy Hart’s light and sexy rom coms, but I wasn’t completely sold on the premise of The Girl Next Door prior to reading this. It does a great job giving the readers a feel for how the full-length love story will play out, what the characters’ personalities are like, and the dynamics between them. While I do still have a few hesitations about the story – faking a relationship with a guy who has already knocked you up sounds all kinds of complicated – I have a better handle on what the story will bring. For that reason, I think this is the perfect addition to the story and a great way to see if the book is for you.
