In the Woods was her debut novel which helps her win the Edgar, Macavity, Anthony, and Barry awards. The Witch Elm is another quality novel from the author that deserves all the time of fictional novel lovers.
The Searcher novel is as good as any other novel written by Tana French. It sounds great in audio form and you will find the performance given by Roger Clark quite enjoyable. The narrator managed to grab the Irish accent for some of the characters beautifully and this made the audio novel even more interesting.

Carl Hooper, the prime protagonist of this novel believed that having a fixer-upper in the rural Irish village would be an ideal escape. After spending a long tenure of 25 years in the Chicago police department and going through a bruising divorce, he wanted to have some change. He was looking to start afresh in an ideal spot with an excellent pub, where nothing of the sort associated with his prior life happens.
A local kid had his brother gone missing and that case changed his life yet again. He started with the investigation and found layers of darkness associated with the brother of that kid. He started to believe now that the small towns could even have some really dangerous secrets.
The author, Tana French writes an excellent crime tale that has some excellent atmospheric story of suspense. The tale is quite fascinating and it will grab your attention within minutes. The book stood as the New York Times bestseller as well.
