The Tyrant\’s Tomb audiobook free

I have been waiting with bated breath for this to come out. Sadly, two days and Ive finished it :(. Couldnt stop reading. Just the same as I would have expected from this author. I am 47 year old Mom who got hooked on thesekids books. I have almost all of Riordons books on kindle. Its great. On the kindle, on my phone, or via Alexa we read them constantly. I sometimes think Alexas head is going to explode because we usually have her reading us multiple stories around the house at the same time. These are great to take on the road. We plug the kindle into the car and have it read us the books. The text to speech function isnt as dramatic as buying audiobooks, but it is WAY cheaper. Plus you get to laugh at the mispronounciation. Broaden your minds. These arent just for kids.

The Tyrant\’s Tomb audiobook in series The Trials of Apollo

Thr fourth installment, shining as brightly as the other three, continues the infinite cycle. I personally would mark this as a suspense/fantasy.
The plot was engaging, and a lot of the chabges in the book were unseen. I found Apollo/Lester developing more once again. It’s definitely an interesting process based on the character.
When we thing Riordan has exausted his pool of monsters, he pulls a rabbit (or a zombie) out of a hat. He keeps things fresh, and never ceases to describe them well, allowing readers to become more enlighted about the world of myth. He also refrences pop culture, like with the ‘Wakanda thing’. He keeps the story from drifting off into a completely different world, and keeps the setting what it is: the modern world
One of the things I noticed was that there were a few myth-related mistakes. One example is when Reyna, my favorite roman character, (second to Percy and Annabeth, who have won our hearts) refers to Calypso’s island, rather than Circe’s. There was at least one more. I get that it can be hard to keep the myths straight, but I noticed the book was released a month and a half early. He could’ve rushed it to please fans, or he could’ve just had a couple mix-ups.
Whatever the case, I reccomend the book for readers as young as 9-10 and the once-teenager that read the Lightning Theif the first month.
The book itself was very good, and continued the saga well. A definite recommendation to all avid readers, young and old. That’s all I have to say. Enjoy the book!

Audiobook The Tyrant\’s Tomb by Rick Riordan

Rick Riordan has made his own genre with his fantastic books of mythology in the present day, crossed with ADHD teens and wit. Riordan blends all these parts so well you are simply immersed in the story, laughing throughout and enjoying the ride. These books surpass the competition with their depth of storytelling, characters, light delivery, joyful spirit, great plot and action.

This Apollo series is no exception and may be my favourite. Apollo is such a great character for continuous humour, pathos and growth, as he navigates the mortal world as an arrogant fallen god suffering as an unattractive pimply teen. The (bad) poetry of this former poetry god is just so funny. Seeing the world through his eyes and some lovely moments in this book soothes some of the tragedy in this story, although I still cant get over that this series killed off a major hero of other books.

Apollos growth in this book is delightful. Although, this growth didnt lead quite where I expected with the calling of a god. I thought it may be self fulfilling. Nope. He is, contrarily, getting both more godly and more human. Apollos character does overshadow the rest, who could do with more development. I feel like Meg is a forgotten main character.

Its hard rating these books because they are in a class of their own, where you end up comparing them to other Riordan books, rather than the industry norms. They are all simply shades of five stars.

Five stars for another highly recommended Riordan series.

Audio The Tyrant\’s Tomb narrated by Robbie Daymond

Rick Riordan I swear gets better and better! I don’t know how after 14 books in this particular series he finds new and different ways to keep it fresh! I learned and studied greek mythology for years so that’s why I absolutely will ride and die with this series. However Riordan also incorporates some legends and history I’m not totally aware of. It always opens my eyes and gets my excited to learn more! Tyrant’s Tomb picks up almost immediately where the last book left off and let me tell you that last book left me in a state of distress! So when this book started I was already a wreck but the story and plot take off and it’s such a fantastic story with great character development. It is literally everything I continue to love and want from this series. A terrific balance of action and comedy. Rick Riordan only has one more book left in this arc that started with Percy and I’m nervous and also excited to see how it all will be wrapped up!

This book was amazing. It was really great to see all the Camp Jupiter characters again. There were, of course, lots of cliffhangers and plot twists, but this is Rick Riordan. What did you expect?
Overall, it was really funny and interesting. I wish it could have gone on for longer.
Also, Apollo has stopped whining so much. About time.
