Sara Harrington has always felt like she must be the responsible one she is career-focused and an event planner that was dating Carter, that was until her sister Mariel came along and now Mariel and Carter Pryce are getting married. So upset over this Sara moves from California to Chicago and has no intention of forgiving her sister. When Saras Mom calls from Connecticut and gets her back to her home town under false pretenses, she is really upset when her sister Mariel is there. Things really get interesting when because one of Mariels bridesmaids cancels and Mariel thinks that Sara will just step up. The siblings rivalry so remind me of my own childhood, I had to be responsible while the others just did whatever. Author Mary Simses brings the book alive with Sara thinking she still wants Carter, running into David and the way Sara is trying to make the art piece back together, her Mothers seeming to always side with Mariel. A great read and one to really give you an escape from life right now.

The behavior of the book\’s 37-year-old \”heroine\” reminded me of a psychopath I once had the misfortune to work with. She wreaked havoc at work and bragged that at her sister\’s engagement party, she got even for past slights by \”accidentally\” knocking her immaculately dressed sister into the pool.

Audiobook The Wedding Thief by Mary Simses
This is a terrific page turning fun read. Loved the characters and every chapter has a surprise. All of the characters seem real and people that would be fun to have dinner with. Hope it becomes a movie.

Too typical of a story. You knew the ending before you finished the book. Kinda silly!
