This Reminds Me of Us (St. Caroline #4)

Unfortunately the story dragged a lot. It was difficult to read. I kept losing interest and picking it up and putting it down. It just took too long for anything to happen.

The husband was an idiot. He accused the heroine of having affair without any real proof. Rather all he had was flimsy inferences. I dont understand why she tolerated the accusations. She should have verbally slapping some sense into him. She never really got angry. Rather like a doormat she put up with this behavior entire book. It was frustrating for me to read and nothing I wanted to read about. There were too many of his internal thoughts throughout the story. He definitely suffered from low self-esteem. I just didnt like him which is unfortunate given that he is the hero.

The husband believed that one of the main things that he brought to the relationship was that he heated things up in the bedroom. That is a sad statement more than one reason. For one thinking that the main thing that your bring to relationship is sexual ability doesnt speak very highly for you nor your relationship. For another there was no showing of any sexy times. The readers keep being told that they heated things up in the bedroom but were never shown them. The smex scenes were definitely lacking in passion and were brief. The story would have been better being a clean romance.

The only reason that I rated the book more than one star is there was no cheating. The hero and heroine were faithful to each other.

I fell in love with Ollie and Serena from the start. This heartfelt story keeps you turning the pages and cheering for Ollie and Serena on as they try to put their marriage back together after a car accident causes Serena to lose her memory. I recommend this story for anyone who loves a great read.

I really loved the first book in the series, but it’s been a little downhill from there. I won’t be reading any more of them.

The husband was more than a little boneheaded. Happily married for 8 years and all of a sudden he believes his wife is cheating on him…with no real proof. Sheesh. And, since she was still recovering from the four month coma with serious memory loss, so she should not have been stressed in any way. I’m sorry. She may have forgiven him, but I just couldn’t.

************SPOILER ALERT***********I like paranormal stories and read a lot of them. However, what was thrown in here was seriously silly and unbelievable. I have a feeling that it will be popping up more in the next books and I am not at all interested in that!*************************

Oliver has just lost his mother to cancer and his wife Serena was in an accident putting her into a coma. Oliver truly loves his wife, but some strange doubts start entering his mind. Serena remembers Oliver but doesn’t remember her children and how long they have been married. The doctor releases her from the hospital but doesn’t know if or what or how long before memories will come back. Can Serena and Oliver survive this struggle?

I have loved all three of the books in this series. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. The amazing Wolfe men are really special and the women that realize this are special, too. I loved this story of Serena and Oliver. The things they must overcome can’t stop the love they have for one another. Julia Gabriel will have to tell us the stories of the remaining Trevor sisters. Both families are great and make me want to keep reading about them.
