Tyrant (Tyrant #1)

Loved the story and the characters. The narrator missed some dramatic opportunities at key points of the story.

Not nearly as good as \”Killer Of Men.\” The accents became quite annoying after awhile.

I love Cornwell, Archer and Woulk! But? Cameron just develops better and uses modern day language to describe history. I’ve listened to every book from above authors mentioned but somehow? Cameron pulls me into the moment of experience. At first, I think it’s a bit cheesy and Cameron does open his books a bit weak. However? It just always gets better! He gets stronger after chapter 2-3. It’s amazing! I’ve listened to every book he’s written on Audible; no regrets! I can’t believe his books are so cheap on Audible! Far better then most! I almost feel guilty spending a credit on a $16.95 book. Well worth it!

for a book on war it has very little action. I found it very lacking in detail about the combat.

Christian Cameron has done this to me twice now, I bought this because I assumed it was a story about a guy in Alexander\’s army. I was only half right. Of course, I got a bit upset when that didn\’t happen, but I kept going and it ended up being exactly what I wanted and I didn\’t even know it. Great story.
