Uplifting Stories: True Tales to Inspire You to Take Action

LOOOOVE love love this book! There’s so much negativity in the news, especially this year. Reading Uplifting Stories has been helpful in bringing more positivity into my life. It’s very easy to read because each story is less than 10 pages long. This book is not only a book that makes you feel good, it guides you to intentionally bring goodness, love, and positivity into the real world and with the people around you. I love how there are action steps at the end of each chapter. Even after the first chapter, which recommended to have an open-minded conversation about politics or any other issue with someone you may disagree with. I took this action to have a discussion with my mom. She was really grateful that we didn’t have to argue about who’s right or wrong but simply sharing our ideas. I would recommend this book for everyone and anyone who needs a little uplifting in their life.

I might be a little biased here, because Matthew Christian is a dear and personal friend of mine. You probably know of him – his video chronicling the evening that he sat his Mom down at the kitchen table and came out to her went viral several times. And trust me, his Mama IS that sweet and kind and loving in real life, and Matthew is as sweet and kind and loving as well. That video was not staged – it was true and raw. In this book, you will learn the story behind the video – it’s a must-read. The accompanying stories are as uplifting as Matthew’s. A must-have on everyone’s bookshelf, especially during these most trying times of 2020.

We are living in interesting times – 2020 will be talked about for years to come, and while we pray it ultimately proves to be the hard catalyst we needed for positive change – right now we just need to get through it.

And that is where Ione Butlers book – Uplifting Stories glides to the rescue. I love how each of these tales not only proves the resilience of the human condition but our ability to find joy and happiness in the most unlikely circumstances.

It’s why I also love their website Uplifting Content, it is a happy rainbow raft to cling to as we drift towards an optimistic future.

Thank you for gathering all these tales and personal exercises Ms Butler – in seeing how other people learn to thrive, I’m able to find own way to doing just that!

I wanted a book to read on my travels and Im so glad I picked this one. It was great to experience all the different stories that I found to be little inspirational gems. And I loved that you can pick it up anytime and read any chapter.

This is a great collection of stories! Ive been waking up in the morning and reading one story with my breakfast. What a great way to start the morning!
