The ending made me cry so hard. I love this series so far! I can\’t wait to read the next book.

I love this series and can\’t wait for book 3 to come out. I love this Author and the narrator. Can\’t wait to listen to more from this Author.

Worth is incredible. The mental strength and endurance she demonstrates is inspiring. Hollie Jackson does a wonderful job bringing her character to life and I don\’t think there is a better narrator for this female lead. Is it dark? no I don\’t think so. Is it raw and gritty? yes. There are violent elements that some may be uncomfortable with but I wholeheartedly believe they are a necessity to the storyline and the development of the characters and the world they live in. Its like Mad Max and Resident Evil\’s \”Alice\” had a baby and here comes Worth. Only she does not fight with tech and guns and she got her strength and training from growing up alone and needing to survive. Probably a poor analogy there but if the world went the way things did in this series, I would want to be her. I would hope I had the same willpower to pull myself through and survive in a world not meant to be lived in. Good job K.A Knight in making a character that is actually believable as a bada** heroine. She knows what she can do and she also knows she has limits. She is strong in most things but still vulnerable with her men and I love that. They all feel like elements of a whole. Lastly, I love Drey. WOW, his pull to her and his desire to keep her safe and strong makes my knees weak, not to mention every scene he is in seems to just be so hotted sexy to me. I definitely have a favorite. I love how none of them seem to want to tame her and while they want to protect her they show that they trust that she is capable of handling situations herself but they are there if she needs them and her strength is what sets her apart. I just love this series and I really want to see the the last two books on audible narrated by Ms. Jackson and fingered crossed, the spinoff/companion series starting with The Forgotten and The Lost.

I got this book out of morbid curiosity and lost interest in it a little over half way through. I think it may be a little better than the first book but I didn\’t care enough about any of the characters to invest any more time in their story. I\’ll be exchanging this book.
