Cavendish is interviewing for a big promotion and Walker is trying to sort her mum and brother; meanwhile it seems they may be dealing with another serial killer, except this one is a vigilante taking out paedophiles. Well written police procedural that does an expert job of balancing the character development and personal stories with the crime story. There is a pretty big clue near the beginning, so the reveal was not shocking to me, but that did not detract from the story. This was a quick read (mostly because I didn\’t want to put it down). This is the second book in the series and builds on the character development from the previous book but can be read as a standalone. Recommended for fans of Criminal Minds

Sally Rigby has created interesting women characters in stories that are gripping and hard to put down. Somehow her world comes alive from the first page. On one hand I wanted to read it all very quickly, on the other hand I wanted to savor it slowly. I\’m very excited to have found her books and will read them all.

Audiobook Fatal Justice (Cavendish & Walker #2) by Sally Rigby
Another excellent read concentrating on a delicate subjuect. Sally Rigby\’s writing is easy to follow and she keeps the reader interested throughout by ensuring the story flows and adding some nice twists to the plot which keeps the reader guessing. The relationship between Cavendish and Walker is believable and their friendship is growing as their trust of each other increases. Am looking forward to Book 3

While the plot unfolds and keeps you guessing, whodunnit, the relationship between our two heroes and their supporting cast continues to develop and mature.

I really like the interaction between Cavendish and Walker and the way their friendship evolves. All the supporting characters are well thought out. The \”bad person\” in this one was a bit of a surprise. The storylines make you feel you know the characters or someone like them – I guess I\’d say they are believable and relatable. I\’ll be reading #3 next.
