My Sinful Longing (Sinful Men #3)

I thoroughly enjoyed Books 1 and 2 of the Subful Men series. I am completely wrapped up in the mystery and intrigue of the story woven through all the books, so Book 3 MY SINFUL LONGING was a must read if I was going to get to the story I really wanted – Michaels story.

Colin and Elle are together because of their mutual interest in the Community Center. Elle works there and Colin volunteers and donates money from his venture capitalist company. Colin is very intriguing with the my body is a temple, the rock climbing, kayaking, etc. Elle, not so much. She just didnt have the spark that made me understand why Colin was so drawn to her.

Colin moves the story about his fathers death forward quite a bit in this book, so it is necessary to read it. I have to admit it was a little hard to keep reading, at times, because I wasnt feeling the love.

She was the only kind of intoxication he wanted anymore. He planned to stay hooked on her for all time. ~Colin

I’m addicted to the friends-to-lovers trope, and this one certainly delivered! I connected with Elle and Colin immediately. They were both so likable and chose to be in service to others, Elle as a community center counselor and Colin as a volunteer. Both knew about the negative consequences of addiction and had made certain life style changes to cope. And I loved that these two had a lot of fun together before their dynamic was further complicated by the reopened murder investigation of Colin’s father, Thomas Paige.

Writing style: 3rd person

Favorite bits:
Their ‘celebrations’ and dates were extremely sexy and fun.
Elle and Colin both had cool tattoos that symbolized important growth moments.
Elles mantra was Rise above it. It’s simple yet powerful.
The epilogue’s ending topped the previous novel’s ending and left me shaking my head in pure astonishment.

One of my favorite moments:
Its okay, he said. You dont have to have it all figured out. You dont have to be fearless all the time. Just be with me.

I want to be with you. I want to be fearlessly in love with you.

I’m officially caught up with this steamy and suspenseful series. Now the waiting begins anew. What happens after the bombshell revelation in the epilogue will be revealed in Michael Sloan’s novel, Sinful Love (Sinful Nights #4), available on March 28, 2016.

This book was fantastic! Sinful Longing is book 3 in the Sinful Night series. You need to read the first two books before reading this book. As with all her books Lauren hit this one out of the park. This is Colin and Elle’s story.

The Blakely men continue to be men to be swooned over and Colin Sloan is no exception. This man had so much bad happen in his family and past that you wonder how him and his siblings survived. Well, it’s because of the love and passion in each one of them. Colin managed to not only fight, but conquer his demons. He is smoking hot, successful, protective of those he loves and you better have 911 on speed dial to put out the fire in the bedroom!

Elle is a strong woman who has a painful past as well. She has thrown her life into helping others and taking care of her son. After living with her drug addicted husband, who ended up dying of an overdose, Elle couldn’t let herself get seriously involved with anyone with a past of addiction. Colin has been clean for eight years and she wants him in spite of his past. These two have chemistry that burn the pages. Colin and Elle have been seeing each other casually “hooking up” because let’s face it, they set each other on fire. Colin wants more and he won’t give up, but the past in the present seem to try and keep them apart.

There are so many pieces to the puzzle that began with Sweet Sinful Nights and continued in Sinful Desire and now Sinful Longing. This book leaves with a “WTH” ending that has me anxiously waiting for the final book Sinful Love, which is Michael story. This is a definite five star read for me!

This is Colin & Elle’s story, Colin Sloan, the tatted, reformed bad boy. oh. You got me!! This is my Colin & Elle 🙂

Not only does the suspense continue in this book (I am addicted to this storyline!!!!!!!) but it keeps expanding, there is fabulous content and as always it is so well written that I am visualising while reading.

Sinfully sexy scenes between two strong hot as hell characters, I mean, this for me is as sexy a pairing as Julia & Clay. And great supporting characters that play great roles in making everything come together to give me what I want, which is a hot and sexy read with great drama along with it.

This is one of my favourite storylines Lauren has ever written I am GRIPPED!! I had goosebumps at the end. It needed a dramatic bit of theme music!

May also lead to a shopping addiction in knee highs! I am loving something so universal for every woman! All my friends are getting them, to use wherever they want !

a very good story, this follows through from book 1 an 2. it is a story that’s a continuation so you do need to read all and in order. the main character’s are the Sloan family, each part focuses on 1 member but the family background continues through all. Elle is friends with Colin and his family she also has her own back story, that affects how she is with dating Colin. we get a lot more of the facts from the murder of Sloan snr, and the part their mother played in it. Lauren Blakely always weaves a great story and is well worth a read, I have followed her through from the first book I also preorder as soon as I can for the next
