A Taste of Sage

As a lover of food AND romance, I thoroughly enjoyed A Taste of Sage. The characters felt very real to me, and I was rooting for them from page 1. I loved the dynamic between Lumi and the people around her, and I really connected with her relationship with Julien. Plus I looooove love loved the descriptions of all the incredible dishes juxtaposed with recipes!!! This book will be valuable to me long after I’ve finished reading the story.

I have this book 5 stars because I fell in love with Julien & Lumi’s love story! I also loved all the good cooking entwined in the plot! It was as if I could taste the food through the pages! I want to find a love like Julien & Lumi’s! It’s a wonderful read & you’re find yourself rooting for all the characters (Esme too)!

Im a huge fan of cooking shows, so I knew this one was for me! Excellent book!!! Super weird thing to point out, but the cover texture was strange and unlike any other book Ive had. Otherwise, fantastic read!!!

I read this quickly in about two days and enjoyed it. I like books that have a little magic in them, and Lumi’s talent for tasting the cooks feeling in their food provides this element. Makes for a fun layer in the story.

A wonderful and highly entertaining story chock full of delicious ingredients seasoned to perfection resulting in a delicious read. A must read from a very talented new author!
