I have officially added John Lane as one of my new favorite narrators. OMG, his voice! Pure testosterone! It is so delicious, deep and rough. I love it!
In the second book, it was more of relationship building between Jonas and Sarah. A lot of steamy sex and working through each of their issues but mainly Jonass, but no real direction of the story until the very end. Books that are solely character building with hardly any plot movement get on my nerves. Especially, when they are in a trilogy like this. I feel it is just added fluff to bilk more money from the readers. I loved Captain and was looking forward to reading this whole series, but after realizing the format, I dont think I will finish. I have already started book 3, and I just feel like the entire series could have been compressed into one book, maybe two. Sigh.
Overall The Reclamation: The Club Trilogy, Book 2 is full of steam and character development but not a lot else but it was still very enjoyable. However, I cant do another 3 books of this after I finish this first 3.

So the book was released today and I couldn’t wait to dig in. It took me three hours and it was sooooooooo good I can’t wait for book 3. It was a little different than the first one and different than what I expected.
Book 1, The Club, you must read first, it details Jonas and Sarah’s meeting and falling in love and essentially in book one he gets her to jump off a cliff and give him 100% trust. In book 2, this book they arrive home from that trip in love but no one’s said the actual words though they believe they both love each other. To find that Sarah’s employers knows she broke the rules and broke into, trashed and stole her Kat’s computers.
Jonas flies off the handle and calls Josh to come help him save his Sarah. And while a majority of this book is Jonah trying to protect Sarah from the bad guys he also has to try and figure out how to save Sarah from essentially her boox whose hidden by the internet. Sarah also wants those words and Jonas realises he has to let her in and thats a struggle for them.
Jonas is a crazy man and I like Sarah love that about him. He is such a fun character. This book also has more Kat, Sarah’s BFF and she is super fun too, Josh is also around more and really has no clue how to help his brother, but it was great seeing more of him. I hope the author does a series of books about Kat and Josh.
Sarah puts up with Jonas and she knows him so well and well thats what makes their relationship so fun. He screws up but essentially she understan him so much. I think my favorite line is when she tells Jonas, that essentially nothing he could say to her about how broken he is would turn her off him.
The book was a lot of fun and most of it was very fun. The end was OMG and well I can’t wait for book 3.

Audiobook The Club: Reclamation (The Club #2) by Lauren Rowe; Narrated by: Lauren Rowe
Disclaimer: I PAID for this book. No ARC here. 😉 She, Rowe, is THAT good. Book 1 (The Club), which you HAVE to read before 2 (The Reclamation) is a hook, line and sinker kind of book, but so is this series. Come to expect complete and utter fabulousness from these books. Demand it and you will not be disappointed.
Alright folks, be prepared. Be prepared to have your mind blown. Be prepared to fall in love with Jonas, Sarah and L Rowe. Be prepared to snort from ridiculous, instantaneous laughter. Did I mention that Lauren Rowe has the best sense of humor that freaking rocks? Yeah, she’s pretty funny.
Jonas has this warped sense of love and commitment and Sarah is the perfect match to pop that bubble on a routine basis. She is good for him and there has been so much bad in Jonas’s life that he does not always know how to perceive or project his feelings in healthy ways. You have to love him for his attempts though. Seriously, friendship (love) bracelet? Fangirl <me of course> step right up. While Jonas is something to look at it is Sarah who makes this book. She puts Jonas in his place, earns the respect of his brother and chases her dream of making a difference all the while keeping it real and whipping out the zingers. What is NOT to love about this strong, take no prisoners female lead?
Alas this book review is not complete without mentioning the romance, AKA hawt and dirty scenes. They are obscenely fabulous. Like, rubbing my eyes, I can’t believe I just read that masterpiece of intercourse. Biggest attempt here to keep it clean but so glad that Rowe doesn’t write squeaky clean, that would be downright awful.
I guess you will need to read The Reclamation yourself to see if I am full of it.
I dare you.

Theyve been watching.
Danger lurks around them.
Just waiting..to strike.
After Jonas and Sarah return from Belize accidents keep happening around Sarah. Jonas knows that its no coincidence. Not willing to risk Sarahs life Jonas makes a promise that hell take them down before they can lay a hand on Sarah.
Jonas takes the lead on finding out whats going on with The Club..without Sarah. He doesnt want to risk her life, but he might just be risking his relationship. Will love really be able to conquer all or is that just in fairy-tales?
Ms. Rowe has perked my interest especially with all the angst near the ending! Wow that was one mighty cliffhanger she left us at. Whoo! I cant wait to see what else is in store with this couple. This is about to be one heck of a journey.
Highly Recommend.
(Note: The Reclamation is the second installment of The Club series. You dont have to read it in order, but I would suggest you do.)

The Reclamation (The Club #2) by Lauren Rowe
4 stars!!
One can easily forgive a child whos afraid of the dark. The real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.
I am totally loving this series, The Club was a huge introduction to this couple and The Reclamation just manages to embed them into your heart even more. You can feel their connection radiating off the pages and you cannot help but will for this couple to succeed. Both have their issues, but both are adamant that if they ever have a chance of finding love then this is it for them, it is just the small matter of the circumstances in which they met that threaten to throw a spanner in the works.
JonasJonasJonasI love this dude, there is nothing like watching a man who thought he never had the propensity to love to fall head over heels and I mean, he is all in, totally, completely, undeniably and he is giving it his all. Yes, he makes a few blunders along the way, but this is all new to him, it is a learning curve but there is no denying his commitment to get it right. You can see the man morphing before your very eyes, and while he knows it is happening, he cannot stop it, he doesnt want it to stop and he embraces it, making him all the more endearing.
But I promise you one thing, my sweet Jonas – whatever I come up with, its gonna bring you to your frickin knees.
SarahSarahSarah, her biggest hurdle in this book is learning to take and accept, having forever struggled in life she finds it hard to deal with Jonass generosity and this can cause the funniest of arguments. Sarah needs to remember that being the one and only forever member of the Jonas Faraday club has exclusive membership benefits and she just needs to accept it all. Jonas Faraday is the gift that keeps on giving, his heart is in the right place and he wants to do everything he can for her, but sometimes Sarah gets a bit overwhelmed and feels that she is losing herself along the way.
Good actions give strength to ourselves and inspire good actions in others.
With the investigations into The Club well under way, these two are forever on tenterhooks, in case anything should happen, but you know that the people behind The Club are not going to let them skulk into the background and throughout this book you are left wondering what is going to happen. You know it is going to but you just cannot see it coming.
Better a little that is well done, than a great deal imperfectly.
This instalment was a fun read as well as cementing the relationship between Jonas and Sarah. You can see them building their foundations and you know that they are going to be an incredibly strong couple eventually. Although this relationship is in its infancy, sometimes you just know that this is it for life, and this is the way I feel about these two. They are perfect for each other, they balance each other out and keep each other centred, but they will always have that fire between them to keep their relationship fresh and entertaining.
Overall this was a fab read, the ending isthe ending and while I cannot give anything away you will be left wanting more and QUICKLY! Thank god we only have a couple of weeks to wait! This book was well balanced with the fun and humour, the angst and the suspense and of course the emotion. The more I read, the more I want and as much as I do not want this series to be over, I need to know what happens to these two. If ever you want a relationship to work, it is these two, they deserve each other and they deserve happiness, trouble is, will the world let them?
I love Sarah Cruz.
