I am not a professional by any means, but I had to share my honest opinion and rating of this book. I would say that I rate this book a 5 out of 5. I am tough on my 5 stars because I think those books have to be perfection. I don’t judge completely on grammar, typos, and spelling unless it is really bad. I didn’t see any in this book. I judge completely on the story itself and if I can just get lost in the book I am reading. This book is amazing at that. I like to say that I don’t try to find me in the main character or relate to them in any way because I miss the story. Instead, I enjoy being the fly on the wall that watches everything happen. I have to say to just give this book a chance and you may not see what I see, but this is one of the books I fell in love with and can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

The story takes place in beautiful Charleston, SC and the author captures the historic details and lively culture of the city in detail. And of course there’s the hot romance between the main characters… it is more like a “tutorial” for all men and women out there 🙂 Enjoy!

A fun, light, spicy romance. The characters are very well built and likable. Her description of the interiors is brilliant – you can really visualize each room. A great read, especially if you love Charleston and the Lowcountry. I look forward to reading her next book!

This is a great book to escape into. So many books are written in far off places that I haven\’t experienced so I enjoyed reading about my little big town and my favorite spots to visit. Well written and easy to follow. I also enjoyed that there weren\’t too many characters to get caught up in. Now I\’m ready to move on to book#2!

This book portrayed Charleston in the romantic light that I would expect from the great southern charm. Totally enjoyed the plot which was had enough twists and spice. The detail in the book allowed my imagination to visually see it all. Highly recommend this book to all who like southern charm, spice and love.
