Family and Honor (Jacky Leon #2)

This 2nd installment was definitely was better than the first. The action picked up at a quicker pace. This was abt the connections between Jacky, her siblings and her new father. The interactions between them was a bit childish but it got across the nuances of the relationships she had. The thing regarding Shane I think is a bit dragged out especially because we don\’t really get a view or look at what was. Jacky still remains a balanced heroine. One you can relate to and cheer for. Same is true for the secondary characters. I want to know what\’s up with Landon and still trying to decide if I like Heath lol. The Mercy Adam vibes are still very strong but I like the pace that the author is taking things. The way Jacky gets treated is also very irrational by her so called friend. Were cats are interesting beings. You will gobble this book up. I\’m on my way to read the third book and I started this series yesterday lol. A great read especially if you are looking for a bit of supernatural w a bit of a twist. Can\’t wait to see where this story goes but also hoping the author doesn\’t drag things out.

Okay first off. If you are a fan of this author you know she normally writes rh or why choose books. She didn\’t go that direction in this series and I\’m extremely grateful she took a chance on Jacky\’s story. These book man they suck me in and spit me back out. Amazing world building and character development that I live for. Also this is book two and I\’ve not seen any plot holes because this author just doesn\’t leave them. This series is truly about finding out what it means to be family and living in this crazy cat shifter world that I love. Jacky Leon is a kick but take no prisoners main character. So take a chance on this book. If you are here reading this then you know you already want to.

I really love this series and might be my favorite by this author. Family, forgiveness, and adventures. Their is so much potential in this story and I really look forward to the next book in the series. Her redemption series is still my favorite, but I just love Jacky and maybe a werewolf romance in her future(maybe). Overall it is about a Jacky who is a true hero and is a member of multiple families, human, cat,, and wolf. Her human twin sister- I think she needs some resolution there, her cat family….werewolf family and Carey. Also her new responsibilities will be interesting. I just see so much potential and I cant wait until the next one comes out. Hopefully soon???

It was a good second book for the series. There is a problem in Seattle, and Jackie gets volunteered by her family of werecats to look into it. Werewolves are involved, and there are some mysterious disappearances that have all the supernaturals on edge. Jackie interacts with some of her older siblings, and eventually convinces a few of them that she is not just a naive kitten. It has a mystery, conspiracies, violence and political problems. There might be a developing romance (but I am almost sure it is a bad idea.) I liked this book a lot and will buy the next one. I am curious where the author will take it.

I am a Huge fan of Kristen Banet and everything she writes – this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I am enjoying the slow burn romance, the building of this world and getting to know the characters – the book left me feeling completely engaged with the characters and looking forward to learning more about some of the side characters (her family members) and witnessing this wonderful world Kristen has created unfold. Definitely 5 star book and a 5 star series!
