All He Wants (All or Nothing #1)

Wow I’m not even sure where to begin. How can I convey how much I loved this book? A very good friend of mine, who enjoys most of the same books I do, recommended it to me so of course I immediately bought All He Wants and started reading. Well thank you so much my dear friend Amanda for introducing me to Dominic Knight. He is hot, he’s smart, he’s just amazing, he’s got everything going for him. Except love. Since his wife died he has not even tried to find happiness in the romance department. Well that all changes when Katherine Hart comes into his life and into his workplace. Kate is awesome – she’s funny, feisty, stubborn as a mule, argumentative almost to a fault and she makes the perfect companion for Dominic. Their sex life in UNBELIEVABLY HOT. Their chemistry is off the charts! And there is A LOT of sex! In fact they are pretty much addicted to each other from the start. The story has the usual ups and downs, some drama, some kindle-throwing angst and of course some tears. But that’s all okay because it just makes their relationship more real, more fun. You want to know more. And by the end just when you think everything will be okay, BAM! you’re left anxiously awaiting Book Two (All He Needs).

The story is fun and hot, but what really made me fall in love with this book, this series and its author C.C. Gibbs, is the writing. All He Wants is so beautifully written, it just flows perfectly. I was instantly drawn into the story and the characters’ lives not only because I found them interesting but because everything was so descriptive and so lovely I just wanted to know more and more. The attention to detail is truly outstanding; whether the author is describing a hotel room, a dining room, clothing, or explicit sex scenes (and there are lots of them), there is enough detail to paint a very accurate picture in your mind but it is not too much. You don’t feel like you want to skim over a single word in this book; it’s just that well-written. C.C. Gibbs is truly talented and has become one of my favorite new authors. I highly recommend this story.

I don’t write many reviews, I usually just give out stars…that is, unless something really entices me. And I NEVER put in a “spoiler”. This book rates a review. Let’s start with the main character: Dominic (how apropos…)

Love the “big words” the author uses (abstemious, oligarch, clerestory). The way she writes makes me want to take the time to look the word up. Eloquent! This is a story that was meant to be savored, not just read.

Setting the mood is another detail she is superb at doing. “Her carnal agitation gave way to apprehension; she felt a shiver run up her spine. What had she gotten herself into? This isolated house, this man who was looking at her with such indifference, as though they’d not spent the night together, as though he’d not given her pleasure a thousand different ways, as if he were a stranger.”

Katherine…what can I say about her? I don’t have to sum her up as I did Dominic, but suffice it to say that she is a very assertive woman who speaks her mind…but then somehow gets sidetracked along the way.

The writing, descriptive phrases, the editing….everything was above par. All in all, this was an outstanding book and deserves 5 stars +. The only unfortunate thing is that book #2 “All He Needs” won’t be out until December.

I had been in a book slump when Southern Sunshine discovered this book. She was shouting from the rooftops about how great this book is. Well, as soon as I was able to read it I did, and I am thrilled I did!
Dominic Knight is an ALPHA male to the 10th degree. He is just on this side of perfection and even with his flaws he is perfect enough for me. He is a powerful businessman with a dash of a Dom personality. Katherine Hart is a spitfire. The witty banter between them is highly entertaining and smoldering. Its like preheating an oven for something delicious that is to come. From their first meeting the reader can tell that the chemistry between them is so obvious.
His deep, velvety tone melted through her body, turning on everything that could be turned on, again. Jeez, who would have thought using your vibrator before an interview was a requirement?
Katherine is a game changer for Dominic. He has a playful side to him. When he is playing the game, he plays to win. His unique tactics for giving pleasure to his lover makes this book exciting and will get the blood pumping to areas of your body that might have been a bit neglected lately. I was talking about your brain, get your mind out of the gutter.
When I began reading this book I had some preconceived ideas of what to expect. I heard it was a Dom type book but so different from anything I probably have read. I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. C.C. Gibbs took a rather bad boy Dom to a different plane. Dominic has an edge to him. His past is not one that fairytales have been mused from. He struggles with being someones Mr. Right instead of being Mr. Right now. He wants something more out of life, a life with Katherine maybe. Katherines character was having me high fiving my kindle every time she dished it right back at him with his demands. It is breath of fresh air to have a female be equal to a dominant male and for his ego to not get in the way of what could be a perfect match. The supportive characters remained just thatsupportive. They didnt over shadow the main characters or take the storyline off course. The main characters story had many facets and even though it is a fantasy of mine, the reader could believe that this could really happen.
To find the answers of how this story will end, you will have to read All He Needs. Im ready for more Dominic and his sexual chess game. Get comfortable, this could take all night!

O.k so I am halfway through the book and I am not feeling it..Maybe I should give it a litte more of my reading time. Its just so bloody frustrating reading the same old same old….Him.. billionaire, CEO, Drop dead gorgeous, perfect, Never one to really comit to one woman, pretty much a player, a scorned lover in the wings wanting to crash in and take him for her..Her. perfect face, body, teeth, breasts, legs, cellulite free..fat free.. hair amazing, looks amazing in clothes, does not want anything to do with him. Slowly she succumbs..blah blah blah…….OMG can we have some imagination when writing these books. I love a good story line but all I read is the same old story…so pants. God bless Tiffany Reisz, Thoughless, Effortless, Reckless, Samantha Young, Abbi Glines, Kirsty Moseley, Yes they are teens and twenty somethings but at least its not all CEO and Billionaires… Why do the authors seem to target young age groups? What, we over forty somethings dont have anything to offer? No sex appeal…Older men and women can have fun too, look and feel amazing. We may not be pert or beauty personified but hey, we can bring the sassy, sexy, glam too…..o.k guess I am done with my gripe. I shall carry on reading this trilogy…I think….

This book is an unstoppable force. On first glance it just looks like another shot at 50 Shades and Crossfire, but they are so different.

Knight Mistress is a story of mind-blowing sex and their intense against-all-odds love.

The exchanges between Dominic and Kate are fascinating there is a humor between them and a underlying wit in there conversations. The sexual chemistry is explosive, they have such a carnal desire for each other that its almost destructive. They have a push and pull relationship that could either rip them apart or make them closer.

Dominic Knight is one of the most forceful alpha’s i have ever read about, he has this aura about him that just demands compliance. No is not an option. That all being said you cant help but like him, he is subtle at times in his alpha ways, he is gentle and over generous.

Kate is super smart and wants Dominic more than her next breath, she throws Dominic of his game more than once.

There are nearly more orgasms in this book than there are pages, this story is erotically hot and sensual to the nth degree and i loved every hot sweaty page.
Your kept guessing right until the end never knowing where the author will take the characters, C C Gibbs writing is entertaining, engrossing and very descriptive.
Knights Mistress is one of life’s great page turners i am so glad i have waited to read this book until i have all three books loaded and ready to read one after the other.
