Cover photo and narrator make Axel so intense. Add the depth of love he has for Shelby (kudos to the author) and this book was quite worth the read. At times the dialogue is annoying (he said, she said, I said, ugh!) and Shelby can be annoyingly confused as well, but thanks to Axels appeal, all else is forgiven. 😉

A heartbreaking and beautifully intense second chance romance. Shelby and Axel are both broken and embark on a journey of letting go of the past, learning to live again after all the hurt. They were always meant to be together, they just need time to heal. I enjoyed this story. Ryan West and Kirsten Leigh are fantastic, I liked listening to them bring these complex, heart broken people to life.

Audiobook Nothing Lasts Forever (St. Skin #6) by Jaxson Kidman London Casey
NOTHING LASTS FOREVER (St Skin Book 5) by Jaxson Kidman and London Casey I just loved Axel and Shelby. Both are broken without each other, and there is so much damage, hurt, and other issues to cross. This is one emotional story. The St Skin world is such a special place. I am hopeful that London Casey and Jaxson Kidman revisit it for us. The narrators are Ryan West & Kirsten Leigh who do an excellent job with the voices. Definitely 5 stars.

It is a very familiar pattern when a family experience the loss of a child. the plot took too long to come forth.

Couldnt get into the story and that says much since Ryan West could read the phone book to me and Id like it. It was all telling and no showing and the dialogue tags were he said, she said, he said.
