Redemption

I had to stop reading around 50%. The story is just too ridiculous. The characters are strangely written. Real people wouldn\’t act like that. I realize this is a romance and all but still. The grammatical errors are really horrible, like offensively so. Using the wrong form of \”your\” AND \”their\” was done in this book. Multiple times as if their, there and they\’re are simply interchangeable. There was also wrong words used like \”more \” instead of \”me\”. I purchased one other of this author\’s work and thought it was ok. I don\’t think that I\’ll be purchasing other book.

I throughly enjoyed this. Art work….Amazing and I demand MORE. Now I am noticing that some of the AmBw romances, the hero is always some type of assassin or combative. Nothing is wrong with this, I was just making an observation. Well this was just a nice story, fully developed story, no loose ends. The characters actually had a nice journey to love each other and sex wasn\’t the main focus. Yes, another \” on the run from my psycho ex\” trope however, Ebony did her thing and I am so glad she was able to provide peace to herself and her children. I am also glad that she had morals ……Good Stuff, just read and be happy Warning don\’t read if you have something important to do……….. It won\’t get done lol

Would have given it 5 stars but the grammar and wrong tense use were offputting! For that kind of money, it needed an editor.

I love this book. I got to really see the other side of love through two completely different people. I was on the edge of my seat reading this book. Yoshiro and Ebony really had me wondering if they would eventually get together. On a serious note the abusive situations that Ebony found herself in with the children really brought home to me how much we as single mothers strive to do our best for our children even when it seems like we have on one on our side except the Father. Jalen, Kia, and Poppy stole my heart and made me cry. I truly was rooting for Yoshiro to be the good guy in this and save the mother and the children. I was totally surprised when she helped him get rid of her ex-husband. She was right it was her problem but it was good to have someone to have your back. Seriously it was an eye opener on how to take of yourself and family by any means necessary. I am glad that love found both Yoshiro and Ebony and the kids. I really liked the fact that the mothers brought closure to the story. I would read this story again because there is a silver lining if you look for it and have faith that the Father will provide what one needs. Great book and I want to read more by Kenya.

This was a great story. A FEW small grammar spelling errors that can be overlooked. A great slow burn. As a romance novel of course there would be sexual tension and the characters have chemistry but too often authors rush the emotions. This was a good build. And the abusive husbands back story was actually welcome. Im tired of arbitrarily dark and evil men. People are human and trauma changes ppl and thats what happened to Wyatt. lOVE how the kids were developed too! Great characters. A perfect unit and team. Kenya Wright has a new fan. This was my 1st by her but Ill have to check out others now.
