Armed with only her first name, Coles search for the disappearing Lori proves to be utterly fruitless. So, with a new partnership in the works and a move to a new city, Cole forces himself to relinquish the search, fully prepared to let go and move on. That is, until he looks out across a conference room and locks gazes with his brand new intern–Lori. Dominant tendencies aside, Cole truly is a prince among men, in search of his elusive princess. But even after this prince is reunited with said princess, their fairy tale ending is still too far out of reach. For while Loris Cinderella story surely deserved a HEA, she was constantly getting in her own way towards achieving that goal. While I understood Loris need to succeed based solely on her own merits, her unrelenting stubbornness when it came to Cole quickly grew tiresome. Professionally, Cole never failed to treat Lori with the respect she deserved. And on a personal level, Cole was always affectionate, supportive and understanding. So Loris push and pull behavior became a source of frustration. As for Cole, however, it didnt take me long before I found myself falling head over heels in love with this sexy, dominant man. Not only is he everything a girl could want wrapped up in a deliciously sinful package, but Coles generosity of spirit and infinite patience sets him far above many other book boyfriends. Together, Cole and Lori really heat up the pages! Right from the get go, their chemistry sizzled and then later sored. In keeping with her trademark style, Lisa Renee Jones successfully delivers another steamy hot story with plenty of heart. So, minor frustrations aside, I found Dirty Rich Cinderella Story to be an enjoyable story overall.

I sooo LOVE Lisa Renee Jones, everything she writes is amazing to me! So excited to have this delivered to me last nite after I preordered a while ago & then forgot about it! Well, after reading this newest book of hers, there is absolutely nothing unforgettable about it. Lisa writes about a character seen in the previous book, Dirty Rich One Night Stand (read this 1st, SO HOT it will burn up your ereader). Cat\’s friend Lori, a Stanford student, who helps her edit her crime novels is the h in this one. She is working many jobs trying to pay back a horrible debt her father died & left she & her sick mother with. Lori then had to quit law school to care for her mother after her stroke & work her a$$ off to pay down the debt & keep them afloat. She trusts no one & doesn\’t want to be pitied by anyone either. She\’s tough, she needs no one. Reese, Cat\’s husband, a very successful lawyer, is joining law firms with his close friend Cole, the extremely swoon worthy H. Lori & Cole met very accidentally & end up eventually having their own Dirty One Night stand, she not wanting more than that & he not able to stop thinking about her. What happens next? Oh my, lots! Read this one & see for yourself, you will love the chemistry…I\’m still fanning myself! Enjoy little snippets of Walker Security characters thrown in here & there. I love when this happens in a series I have previously enjoyed & then you have spinoffs like this Dirty Rich series, Pulled Under & Falling Under. Every book LRJ writes is a lovely, tasty treat that I will savor & most likely reread again because they are just that great. Can\’t recommend this author enough.

This splendid romance novel is hot and compelling. Cole is a successful attorney. He is charismatic, sexy, rich and knows what he wants. Lori gave up her law studies due to a family crisis. She holds more than one job with the ultimate aim of going back to finish her studies and realise her dream of becoming a successful attorney. When Lori bumps into Cole by accident, they are both mesmerised. Cole invites her to coffee, but she declines. As luck would have it, after meeting with her best friend that evening, she meets him again. Here is that spark again! They decide on a one night stand even though Lori worries about her reputation. He is from out of town and going back tomorrow, surely it\’s safe to indulge in a fantasy with this sexy alpha! The night is much better than anticipated, but Lori makes a run for it in the morning. The thing is that he is rich and she struggles to make ends meet. No way, is she going to be a gold digger. Cole does his best to find her, to no avail. Lori is now the lucky recipient of a scholarship and she is over the moon. At last, things are beginning to look up. Well, it\’s quite short lived, when she discovers that her new boss is his truely! Cole! The look that passes between them is enough to set the place on fire. She then finds out that he is her mentor and she has to work with him on all cases. Now that he has found her, he isn\’t about to let her slip away again. Lori is independent and wants to succeed on her own merit. Sleeping with him might look like she is having preferential treatment. Will she cave in or will she continue to resist because of her fear of becoming dependent on someone else? Cole is my hero. He is kind, considerate and means what he says. Lori is loyal and always thriving to honour her commitments, but when it comes to make a firm commitment to Cole, she is very indecisive. There is a lot of \”I want you, I want you not\”. Anyone else would give up! Cole\’s patience and understanding are commendable. This novel is addictive, romantic and sensual. Marvellous!

It is always a pleasure to read one of Lisas romances, as we always have a strong women with integrity and who like to kick ass when warranted. This one has Lori, just nine months before finishing her law degree, her father died leaving her mother with his gambling debts. Then her mother has a stroke with the stress. So Lori finds herself responsible for everything. The only thing she can do is leave college and work three jobs. So while this has happened her mothers out of hospital and things start to look up. When she meets Cat (Dirty Rich one night Stand) in a bar to catch up, as she helps Cat as her assistant . They have become good friends, but on this occasion Cat receives a call and has to leave. Suddenly the hot man she had bumped into earlier sees her, and for one night she wants forget everything and escape. Cole cant believe his luck. Let just say they go to his hotel, under the conditions Lori sets no last names and just for tonight. Well we all knows what happens, and it was HOT, in the morning Lori runs. Cole and Lori cant stop thinking about each other. Both not realising they had mutual friends (Reese and Cat) Thats it I hope Ive wetted your appetite for more, this is completely standalone and a full length story. As always a really perfect story, and I was totally enthralled. By the way Cole is really delicious and I want him
