This story was delicious, action packed with shifter drama, and filled with all those intense character scenes everyone swoons over! All the stars! I read it in less than 24 hours and I absolutely loved it.
Ness and the Boulder wolves are back! And so is August. The story picks up right after the pack pledged to the new Alpha. It gets really interesting when Ness and August realize that a mating link has been established between them. Then certain evidence comes to light that makes it appear that Ness assisted her cousin Everett in escaping pack justice. Ness is once again trying to prove herself loyal to pack and wondering just how much she will take until she says enough! Meanwhile, an enemy pack comes to town and every wolf is caught in the middle.
This sequel was just as good, if not better in parts, than the first book! The pacing was fast and the book was such a smooth read. I loved being back in Boulder and seeing my favorite Boulder and Pine wolves. I appreciated that Ness kept her loyal, strong willed nature even when faced with hard choices. She made a few teenager mistakes again, but made up for it with smarts and loyalty. She’s still as feisty as the first story and I enjoyed seeing her banter with the Boulder boys. I felt Liam’s personality is turning for the worst and mood swings are erratic. His nature depends on the situation at the time and is making him a least favorite character. It was fun to focus on August for a good portion of the book and his personality, past, and where he fits into the pack. I loved reading the bits between him and Ness! His nature seems solid as a rock and I’d love to see even more of his character come out in the final book. The addition of the new pack in Boulder made for an interesting turn of events and I’m curious to see how it will all turn out. But ugh. *Stabs chest* That cliffhanger! It was gut-wrenching and I truly can’t wait to see how this fun shifter series ends!
Thank you so much to Twig Publishing and the author for allowing me the chance to read an arc of this amazing shifter story early!

As a reader have you ever found a series that just seems to fit you? Where you what nothing more than to just become a part of the story, be one of the characters, live and love among them? This is that series for me. I just cannot get enough of the characters, the story line, the first love and the adventure. Oh Holy Lycanthropy! And I thought I was in love with Blood and Lies!
This book was everything that I wanted, needed, coveted and awaited, yet was filled with twists I didnt see coming! It was an emotional roller coaster ride. I took my time reading it, then read it again because I could not stop thinking about it. I have never in my life interacted so much with a story. I would caution readers to get a padded kindle cover before reading this book, because when you inevitably end up throwing your kindle you need it whole, LOL.
Immediately following the events of A Pack of Blood and Lies, this story starts out with the answer to the question we readers had at the end of book one. From there the action doesnt let up. I was beyond surprised at the twists and turns the story took. I was so involved with both the story line and the characters that I kept yelling at the characters like they could hear me. I wont tell you why because it would give away spoilers, just be ready for a bounty diverse emotions! After all, isnt that what makes a wonderful read? What all readers want? To become so invested in the story and the characters that you just cant put the book down or forget the characters?
This was beyond another hit for me and I cannot, CANNOT wait for book three: A Pack of Love and Hate! For fans of Maggie Stiefvater (and the Mercy Falls Series), you will devour these books. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review; I also bought myself an ebook copy and will be buying a paperback as soon as available.

Audiobook A Pack of Vows and Tears by Olivia Wildenstein
SPOILER ALERT***
For starters this book gets you hooked. The main Character, Ness, is spunky, sassy, as well as true to herself. I loved how she stands up for herself and doesn’t take any crap from anyone. It is honestly a breath of fresh air how when one person does her wrong and immediately says sorry, she does instantly accept it and forget about it (just like any normal person would do ). I can’t tell you enough about the many books I have read where the character has accepted and forgiven the wrongdoings that have been done to them, almost immediately after they have apologized too.
I really liked the storyline and plot behind this book. The readers gather new detailed information about the plot, the same time the main character does. There is hardly any predictability in regards to what happens next. The author keeps you on your toes.
NOW onto the GUYS.
I am just going to say it, I am team August all the way. He is truly caring, his motives are in a sincere way, and he doesn’t push in a negative way. YES, I remember the ten year age gap but so what, it is just ten years. What about those other books that have vampires that are hundreds of years older than the seventeen or so year old girl. August treats her right and doesn’t manipulate her for her affection.
Liam, Liam, Liam… what can I say, I liked you in the first book, but holy moly did I cringe in the scenes you were in for this book. I did not expect this, but it just happened and the ending in this book made me really not like you as a character. Lets be clear, what he does and has done to Ness in this book is SO NOT COOL, we learn a new side of him. He comes off as the jealous, possessive, territorial type, as well as obsessed with Ness and her Actions towards August. NOT a Fan of him.
I can’t tell whom she ends with at the end of this series… but I am hoping for August #teamAugust
This book is a good read if not for the love interests but for the main character. The story of this book is so unique and different from its twists and turns that it will keep you up on your toes and keep you up all night reading it. I just finished the book minutes before writing this review and I am still reeling from it and that ending. . . . Whoa.

Audio A Pack of Vows and Tears narrated by Sara Hannan
Fast paced, action packed with secrets, twists and reveals galore that continues straight after book one. There is a love triangle too, if you’ve read the first book, you know who I’m talking about as I’m not going to mention names (if you haven’t stop right now because you need to read “A Pack of Blood and Lies” first).
Honestly I’m totally rooting for one the guys, he seems perfect for Ness and treats her with love and respect. I mean, I know she is young and trying to find her feet in her otherwise all male pack who frustratingly keep doubting her, so why is she questioning their connection? The other guy, although he had his faults in book one, I liked him a lot too, but he has turned into a complete selfish a-hole, but he keeps getting inside her head for some reason, although I love the fact that Ness does not instantly forgive and forget. That ending….. heartbreaking, but a shocking dick move results from it. The man in question really needs to get his hot head out of his backside and do what is right for his pack and for the girl he is allegedly coveting.
You might think from that I didn’t like this book, but you’d be wrong, I loved it. It was enthralling and I couldn’t stop turning the pages! For me it is a sign of a great book when the characters and their actions get under your skin and make you feel everything alongside them and this is exactly what Olivia Wildenstein has done! So yes, I’m angry at one of the key characters, I don’t like what he has become and how he hurt Ness, but I’ve read this authors books before and she knows how to turn a character around, so I’m sure the third book is going to be a page turner too. I still want Ness to get the guy I’d choose and not the one taking advantage of her youth and insecurities, but who knows what twists are yet to come as new Boulder pack alpha Liam makes his stand against the enemy pack in his territory. I’m going straight on to find out.

Ahhhhh soooo bloody good that is how I chose to “sum” up this story, I actually was so intrigued by the blurb of the first book that I purchased it straight away and ditched a decent book nearly finished just so I could gobble up this series, just had a feeling the author was onto a greatly written story, and I wasn’t wrong.
I’m gonna keep it short and sweet, I mean at this point in the story, if you’ve read the first book so far you should know this is an amazing story so why not go onto the next book anyways I’m off to binge the next book and hope it won’t break my heart
Soooooooo worth it though … Sigh.
