Flynn was just everything. He loved nyc, was incredibly witty, handsome, just a nice person and generous. He was so easy to fall in love with. Sabrina matched his wit, and was strong and determined. These two were just perfect together. NYC is one of my favorites places, so finding out some hidden secrets around the city was fun! A great read that kept me up well into the night.

Still can’t believe I wrote that word, but it is the first one that came to mind when I thought about this book and these characters. Strange I know, but it seemed the most fitting. The premise for this novel: an idealistic young woman disappointed by life and those supposed to love her, meets a charming young man searching for someone to love him for himself. Flynn and Sabrina started their romance in the middle, initially meeting at a masquerade without learning each other’s names. They clicked immediately, indulging in a torrid “hook-up” (horrible term for such a momentus occasion) that was supposed to be limited to one night only, however things change….

There were so many things to love about Come as You Are: Ms. Blakely’s remarkable attention to detail as she described specific NYC locales in minute detail, matching each business, park and landmark with the events planned by the “non” dating pair. I also loved how Flynn was able to drop literary quotes so effortlessly from everyone ranging from Byron and T.S. Elliott to F. Scott Fitzgerald and Shakespeare. I agree with Sabrina, Flynn might be a math nerd, but he is also a Duke, a Prince Charming, and a Rennaisance Man wrapped up in one person. Come as You Are was/is a sweet, seductive romance, guaranteed to delight even the most cynical unbeliever, and convert them into an avid Lauren Blakely reader. Not a bad person to be, trust me, I know….

Every time I read a book from Lauren Blakely, I fall in love with the characters, love Flynn and Sabrina.!!
This book is amazingly done, is funny, sexy and so romantic, when you start is so hard to put it down.
Flynn and Sabrina met at a masquerade party and their chemistry is off the charts from the beginning.
They got a second chance at love, they got hurt bad in the past and both love New York with the same intensity. They both have fears and insecurities, they are so smart and have the same ethics and that is why their connection is so deep.
A great read, perfectly done. This story is cute, sexy and I really enjoy it.!!

Usually you’d find me here gushing about the newest #BlakelyBoy that Ive fallen in love with, but today I’m all about the girl! Sabrina Granger is who I’d want to be, if I was just starting out in my adult life! She’s a little bit quirky, incredibly devoted, strong, independent, and determined. I love the relationship she has with her brother, how committed she is to making sure he has everything he needs to realize his dream, even if it means putting herself second. Pretty sure she is my favorite of Ms. Blakely’s heroines, she really is quite awesome.
Now, this is not to say that I wasn’t totally head over heels for Flynn Parker, because I was. I really was. He’s charming and adorable, extremely loyal (I want to be one of his employees), and always has time to listen, which I found totally endearing.

Together, Sabrina and Flynn are just delightful! From their very first meeting, to the Another Epilogue, Come As You Are is everything that is good and right when it comes to a Lauren Blakely romcom. It was sexy and sweet, and there was a playfulness between the characters that I just loved.

I adore how Ms. Blakely incorporates the locations into her stories and leaves me wanting to hop on a plane to visit all the unique places she mentions. And this book was no exception- I even found myself Googling some of them, to see if they really existed! It was fun to visit them alongside Sabrina and Flynn, it was such an entertaining way for them to get to know each other.

Come As You Are is sweet and sexy, with just the right amount of humor and heart. Ms. Blakely truly is the queen of the contemporary romcom. I don’t know how she does it, but as long as she keeps writing characters and stories as enjoyable as this one, I’ll keep coming back for more!

This is one of my favourite way for a couple to meet in a book, a fabulous masquerade ball!! it is so fairytalesque! And the fairytale didn’t disappoint, Flynn was the perfect Prince charming, handsome, smart, kind, sexy and swoon worthy.

Sabrina was not a damsel in distress, who needed rescuing, but she did have a few of life’s obstacles in her way, and although a modern women never needs a man to take care of them, sometimes a hand to hold along the way sure is nice.

I loved both characters, they were a delight to get to know, as was the setting, once again I get to enjoy a little of the area that Sabrina and Flynn live in as Lauren describes the scenes and areas so well.
