Afterglow is the final volume in
Kora Knight’s Up-Ending Tad Series.
I can’t begin to put in words what a great series this.

Kora was brilliant in this book she caught every aspect of their relationship and brought us such a perfect ending to a journey that will forever stay with me.

In previous books we witnessed the relationship between Scott and Tad grow, we had some angst and Tad had to learn to accept his true self and admit that the feelings he had were sincere and how he would learn to deal with them.

Scott was patient he knew how much he wanted Tad but he had to let him grow and finally admit that this was real and it was time to fess up.

This story proved so much it showed us how Tad stood up for what he wanted and didn’t look back . It was beautiful I loved how strong he became and watching how Scott managed to fall deeper and get “shy boy” to voice what it was that he wanted.

The sex in this book was so hot, these two are explosive with each other and watching the trust that Tad had with Scott was just the icing on the cake. Tad has opened up so much although he still has that red blushing that Scott so loves, he is more brazen and asks for what he wants and shows new meaning to “Topping from the bottom” and well that just stirs Scott on and we are left reaping the benefits.

The admitted feelings between them both was so heartwarming and I’m missing these two already but…… As you read in the end the excerpt for Max and Sean’s book I’m excited that we will still get catch ups on my two favorite guys.

I can’t recommend this series enough so if you haven’t read it yet run and start from volume one you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely loved this and the whole journey of Tad and Scott.

“Moaning, Tad pulled back just far enough to breathe. “Jesus,” he panted. “Love you so bad….So bad, I can barely stand it.

Scott stilled. Completely. Maybe held his breath. Then pressed his brow to Tad’s and smiled. “I know, shy boy….Kinda feels like magic….’Cause I’m loving you just as bad.”

Now this is going to be hard to do without any spoilers so you may have to bear with a few unfinished thoughts, but hopefully you will get my meaning.

Way to go Tad! I have to admit you had me a little worried in the opening scene of this story. I was kind of afraid you would not be able to take that step, especially when Scott gave you an out. But dang Shy Boy you rocked it! It was so good to see Tad take that step it set the pace for the rest of the story.

Kora finishes this leg of Tads erotic journey the way it started with a few bets and with these bets we all win. Like the other stories in this series it takes place in a short span of time, one day. It is amazing how much can happen in a day. The time span was perfect and the story flowed like a lazy river with just enough rapids to keep you on your toes. One of the things I enjoyed about this story is that Tad was the one keeping us on our toes a good portion of the story. His character has grown and is coming into his own, as it should be. He just needed to find the right person to help him figure it all out. Thank you Scott!

As I said before Tad isnt the only one on a journey, Scott is also on a journey. It seems Tad is not the only one experiencing firsts, Scott has a couple of his own here. I feel we are missing part of his story and I feel Kora hinted at it in this story. I do hope we get to find out more about his past in the stories to come. *hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge*

Now the bad, sorry. I did have one spot in the story where I was enjoying the bliss of our fine young men and my reading took a left turn. I had to reread a coupe lines to figure out where the story was. But no fear, like Tad I found my way.

Well all journeys must come to an end, or do they? Kora gave us quite a few secondary characters who I am sure will invite us along on their own journeys as they discover what their hearts want, desire and need. I do hope we get to see Tad and Scott throughout what I am considering the continuation of this fun and sexy series.

WOW, I just finished this HOT book this evening and I can PROMISE that if you have loved the story of Scott and Tad in her previous books, You do NOT want to miss this heart pounding conclusion to their love story. I think these stories are so well written they stand alone just fine, BUT once you get hooked, just like Tad you can’t help but come back for more. And MORE is NEVER ENOUGH!

Kora Knight is one of my favorite m/m authors. She was a way of word economy that blows my mind. In just a phrase or two she can paint a picture that stays with you in your mind for days. She can bring you to that place where your own heart is pounding just like her characters are in expectation of the next moment.

I nearly always read and re-read her books over and over and I never tire of the simple way this amazing wordsmith weaves a tapestry that obliterates any and all distractions.

I read this series a few years ago and it was one of my first mm books and intro to bdsm. Scot was so good for Tad who was innocent and had no idea that he was missing something more in his life. I just really enjoyed how patient Scot was and how he gently introduced Tad into what his body could feel and that it wasnt a bad thing. I loved these guys and how Kora wrote their story. So sad to see it end want to get more of them, never enough. Look forward to sean and Max book to get more of Scot and Tad.

ABSOULUTELY LOVED IT!!!! Aaaarrrrgggh my boys Scott and Tad are back and they certainly didn’t disappoint….
From the start of this series, I have loved both characters, through Tad’s sexual awakening, his thought process, the emotional journey he’s been on, the obstacles they have both faced separately and together have been absolutely captivating.
Do not even get me started on the sex scenes, they are all ‘off the charts’ smoking hot…. PHEW!!!! Seriously well written and the chemistry between them both is envious.
The connection they have and trust they place in each other is endearing and leaves me with a happy heart that their future together will be fun and interesting and amazing with a whole heap of kinky naughtiness.
Kora’s writing style is brilliant and ‘on point’…. I adore her as an Author and I can’t wait for the other characters stories.
From book 1, This whole series has been brilliant and I have given each a 5 star…. so basically I given Scott, Tad and Kora 30 fabulous stars!!!!!!
