The Alabama Summer series was one of my first interconnected standalone series that I ever read. I love the family feeling of the all the books, the ribbing, the support, that drama that comes with a family is what constantly brings me back. I love this crew, and Luke and Tessa are one of my absolute favorite couples from the whole series.

With two words, Luke Evans stole my reader heart. ASK. ME. That is seriously all it took. Two words and I was a swooning mess. My love for him over the course of this novella has only escalated. His all consuming love for Tessa, his need to protect her, and his desire to see her happy not with words but actions solidifies not only why I love this series but Luke. He could no wrong. I swear.

Tessa, for this novella, really resonated with me. I have been in her shoes. The blame women put on themselves when infertility occurs, the isolation we feel, and the worry about how not being able to conceive will affect the relationship a person is in all weighs heavily on the mind of a woman trying to conceive, and J. Daniels did such an amazing job conveying the tumultuous emotions that plague a woman who yearns for a child in the most desperate way.

The story is pretty clear cut from the synopsis. J. Daniels takes readers on the journey with them. We see the emotional warfare of trying to conceive, the self doubt, and the pain, but we also get to see a couple who truly loves each other, who is in it for each other and not just the typical picture perfect married couple life. I fell in love all over again with their love and devotion to one another.

The Alabama Summer series will always be one of my favorites. The family and the steamy relationships between each of the couples will always bring me back to this crew. Now, it is time to bring on JAKE.

J. Daniels never fails to brings all of the emotions to a story, whether sadness, joy, love of family, and more so its no surprise that shes a NY Times and USA Today best-selling author. Out of this Alabama Summer series, Ben and Mia have always been my favorites but I love each character and couple in different ways.

Tessa is such a spitfire and a good friend and sister. When I first read about her and Luke in the second book of the series, it was sad when they were apart but they worked out their issues and were as strong as a couple could be. Luke leaves Tessa with no doubt that she is everything to him.

When many couples decide they want a baby, a pregnancy is expected and usually happens quickly. Unfortunately for Luke and Tessa, thats not the case. As each month goes by, Tessa stresses out more and more, wondering if shes doing everything right. As Luke tells her, with children, however they may come, or without, she is his life and feels lucky to have her. This story made me love Luke in a way that I didnt really feel before.

This story had me on a rollercoaster of emotions with tears in my eyes several times. Just about the time you think something good will happen, the bottom drops out. Ive read all of Ms. Daniels books and she can wring every emotion out of you, break your heart, and yet know she will give the reader the HEA we want.

We wanted more Luke and Tessa and Ms. Daniels gave it to us. As a newsletter subscriber, she also wrote a note on why this book meant so much to her and it made me admire her talent even more by sharing her story with us through Luke and Tessa.

With such engaging and compelling writing, its no wonder that the fans are constantly asking for the next book in her three series.

I’ll forever marvel at the way J. Daniels manages to skillfully and effortlessly write this series. As with the others that came before it, All We Want was the perfect addition to the Alabama Summer Series. It’s smart and hella sexy, but it’s also funny and deeply, heartbreakingly emotional.

That Ms. Daniels can move between those emotions, those feelings, so seamlessly . . . amazing.

This series is a favorite of mine, and the continuation of Luke and Tessa’s story was beautiful. With cameos from all of our favorite Bama Boys and Girls, plus a meaningful story about family and love and hope, All We Want is sheer perfection. And now, all *I* want is more, more, more of this series.

I have loved this couple from the very beginning. J Daniels surprised us that this book was coming out soon and then BAM… there it was. I’m glad we didn’t have much notice as I couldn’t wait to catch up with this couple.
This book had everything I could have wanted and more. I caught up with old friends, laughed and cried as I could feel how much this couple loved and wanted to take the next steps in their marriage. Any woman that struggles with infertility should read this book and know that you are not “broken”, nor are you alone! But when you are in the moment it may feel as though you are. Luke and Tessa had a strong support system and I loved where everyone was in their life. There are really no words as to how good this book is. I can not wait to catch up with this couple in the next book that comes out, or in their own book so we can see how things are, and how crazy their household has become.
Can I just say that Nolan had me cracking up with his “Hey Baby”. But why are we surprised as that is all he knows and what a great role model he has in Ben!!! His story will be hilarious and I can’t wait!!

Just finished this book when I only intended to read it for two minutes ! Now Im late for work, but its was totally worth it and, even though my heart was breaking for Luke and Tessa, I will now walk around with a sappy smile on my face for the rest of the day. I feel like I know them and have taken this heart wrenching journey with them #BamaBoysForever
