The Things We Do for Love audiobook free
I can’t say I have ever read a Kristin Hanna book that I would rate below 4.5 stars (if only we were allowed half stars). Being a second generation Italian American & with my my Italian born Nana living in our household, this was an especially enjoyable & relatable book. Having had 4 siblings who are among my best friends, made the relationship between these sisters a familiar experience. What can I say… I loved the book! It might not have been this authors best book, but it warmed my heart, just the same.

The Things We Do for Love audiobook
As someone who is into reading detective, western, military and adventure novels, I seldom read other kinds of stories; however, at times just for a desire to read something different, I will sample other kinds of novels.
I just finished reading this 464-page hardcover edition (The things we do for love by Kristin Hannah) and found it to be a fair read at best for me. This may not be politically correct in the “brave new world” we live in these days; however, this is clearly a novel women will relate to rather than most men. The focus is on family, marriage and recovering from the, many, disappointments life often hands all of us.
Angela Desaria Malone thought her life would follow the same beautiful path that her sisters had when it came to life, marriage and family; however, that is not what happened. I never giveaway too much information when reviewing any novel, but if you are a fan of Kristin Hannah’s novels this is one that you will want to read.

Lauren is a smart girl who was given a hard life. She fights her way into a private high school and excels. Her mother is an alcoholic looking for love in all the wrong places. Angie and her husband Con and lost to each other and trying to find peace and love in their lives. Angie’s family is your typical Italian family loud opinionated and always there for each other. These worlds all collide and come to an unexpected conclusion.

This is an inspiring book to read. Love, healing, resilience and second chances. Kristen Hannah know got to take you on a true journey of the heart. This one as with so many other she has written will make you cry and show you the kind of person you want to be.

I love reading Kristin Hannah books, this one was good and well written, but for me, not one of her best.
Wow. Loved this book – such an amazing story of love and heartache! I could not stop reading — it had me within the first 10 minutes. Must read!
