Because of Miss Bridgerton is the first chapter of The Rokesbys novel series. It is a historical fiction novel and written by Julia Quinn. The Viscount Who Loved Me is the most spectacular novel that Julia has written. You will certainly be amused with her An Offer from a Gentleman novel as well. She writes historical fiction and stunned the audience with many such brilliant novels.
The narration of this chapter is done by Rosalyn Landor. It was a perfect and flawless narration that only Rosalyn Landor could have handled. She is a delight to listen to in this audiobook.

Everyone likes Billy Bridgerton to go on and tie the knot with one of the Rokesby brothers. These two families have been very close neighbors for many centuries. The tomboyish Billie as a child ran wild with Andrew and Edward. One of them would go on to make an ideal husband one day.
There is just one Rokesby that Billie could not tolerate. That Rokesby brother is George. He might be the eldest and also the heir to the earldom, but at the same time, he is annoying and arrogant. She is almost sure that he detests her. This is convenient as she couldn’t tolerate him either. But time changed which is believed to have a very wicked kind of a sense of humor.
This one is a witty and classical novel by Bridgerton that has some strong characters. But, this doesn’t have good enough substance or plot to comprise a full-fledged novel. It could be a nice fun read. But, it will be good that you don’t keep too many expectations from this novel.
