This was a steamy slow burn, opposites attract, enemies to lovers romance! This is the second book in the Harrison Campus series and can be enjoyed as a standalone. Darren and Isaiah clashed from the very beginning and it was enjoyable seeing them banter about their mutual hatred for eachother and at the same time fight against their growing attraction. Anyta Sunday and Andy Gallo writing as a duo is exceptionally captivated and engaging. The characters were likeable, relatable and well fleshed out and the writing style appealed to me. Nick J. Russo\’s narration was smooth, flawless and perfect!

Audiobook Better Have Heart (Harrison Campus #2) by Andy Gallo Anyta Sunday
Enemies to lovers trope has always been my favorite so it’s really no wonder that I enjoyed this audio. Harrison has no luck with boys. Well, to be exact, he has no luck when it comes to dating rich, ass***e, arrogant frat boys. He also desperate need the scholarship to support his struggling family. And Darren, the richest frat boy who also happened to be quite arseholish is also striving for that same scholarship. Daren doesn’t definitely need that scholarship but he wants to get it to mend the broken relationship between his-once-close father and him that has shattered since he came out to him. Two men, one prize and two hearts in that mess, it’s going to be interesting. Very slow-burn romance and really lovely writing. When they found out that they can’t work against each other, they decided to work together and it brought a huge change to both of them. Music is a big part of this story and it’s very poignant and beautifully written. I really loved Darren and Harrison together. Overall, this was both what I expected and what I didn’t. I also really enjoyed NJR’s narration. He rocks! 4 You are the only prize I want to win stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Audio rating Story – 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Narration – 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Performance – 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall – 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Audio Better Have Heart (Harrison Campus #2) narrated by Nick J. Russo
Better Have Heart is a great addition to the Harrison Campus series. This rivals to romance is a well developed story that will grab your attention right off the bat. Darren and Isaiah are competing for the same award at school. These two come from very different backgrounds and would appear to have nothing in common. Their connection is undeniable and the more time they spend together the clearer this becomes. Nick J. Russo does a great job narrating this story. He pulls you in from the first word spoken!

I requested a free review copy of this book after listening to Book 1 of the \’Harrison Campus\’ series. I wanted to read another well-written slow-burn romance from Gallo and Sunday. This review represents my voluntary opinion upon listening to it. The second book of the series focuses on Isaiah and Darren. Both men are vying for the same prestigious scholar program that the Gage ancestors endowed generations prior. Darren, being a Gage, is set to become the scholar, as tradition dictates the descendants automatically win the program. Isaiah, however, challenges this tradition and demand a chance to win it for himself. The two first become rivals, but as time goes on and they begin spending time together, a friendship and then something more develops. Before starting the book, I was a little concerned that Darren\’s reason for wanting this scholarship wouldn\’t pass muster. I had thought to myself, since he was already rich, why did he want it? The authors have given readers a valid reason that Darren would wish to compete for it. The writing of Darren\’s emotions in this part of the plot makes complete sense. The story is slow-burn, but not the bad kind of slow-burn. Darren and Isaiah are afforded plenty of time to become friends and then develop feelings for one another. The story doesn\’t get bogged down with false assumptions and miscommunication. The little bit that\’s here resolves quickly. My favorite part of this burgeoning relationship is the fact they have ample time for flirty banter. It\’s so adorable. On the whole, the book has a well-thought-out plot. There\’s a natural flow to the dialogue. The on-page sex scenes are loving and appropriate to the level of experience the characters have. It\’s a truly sweet story. Nick J Russo\’s narration is wonderful. His interpretations perfectly suit the story. He gives the listener an emotional performance. Highly recommended.
