Blood Politics is the fourth chapter in the Blood Destiny novel series. It is a science fiction fantasy with a gripping tale of shapeshifters. The book is written by Helen Harper. She has a good range of interesting novels that deserves to be checked out. If a couple of her most promising novels are to be named then Infernal Enchantment and Brimstone Bound would make an easy choice.
Saskia Maarleveld is an experienced narrator and she was at her brilliant best once again. She played all the characters effortlessly and you will love her for her soulful tone.

You would start to think that life would be dealing with a king hand when it is about Mack Smith. Things appear to be settling down quite smoothly while living in London. The opening of an enhanced version of Clava Books was just a few days away. Apart from the horrifying nightmares related to dragons, things were pretty much OK. But, the fact was that Mack was constantly been chased by a series of mages, shapeshifters, and fairies as well. All of these were looking for her attention constantly. That was all supposed to be with no temptation of Corrigan, who is the Lord Alpha of Brethren. Things started to get heated up when a local dryad ask Mack for some desperate and much-needed help.
The Blood Politics book is a good attempt where you will enjoy the drama involving relationships. The audience has higher hopes from the author to come up with something more interesting in the next chapters of the series. The performance from Saskia Maarleveld continues to be incredible.
