I liked the book, but there is A LOT of stuff about plants. Names of plants. Latin names of plants. Descriptions of plants. How to grow plants. How to propagate plants. How to sell plants. My eyes started to cross. Either angora is really into plants or she is an incredible researcher and feels the need to let us know about it. Honestly, it detracted from the book. I,felt the story was second to the information about the plants. I hope the sequels get better at that.

This was more than what I was expecting. There were quite a few tears, there were more laughs, more wows. Stella is great and strong as much as Logan is argumentative and sweet. Meeting all the characters has gotten me excited about reading the other books.

Audiobook Blue Dahlia (In the Garden #1) by Nora Roberts
The beginning threw me off but it totally tied everything together at the end! I HAD to get the other two books to complete this series. Nora Roberts has another Triology called Finding The Dream that I loved years ago…. (in hard copy and audio) but have not gotten into her recent books that seem to be so mystic. Just too over the top for me. And was disappointed in a few I read. But found this series and am loving it. I just finished the second one and am saving the Black Rose for a trip that I have to go on at the end of this week! I am looking forward to the drive now! This one was five stars hands down! Better as an audio book!

In true Nora Roberts fashion, the three book trilogy begins with Blue Dahlia and pulls you into the lives of the characters. It has a complete enough ending to stand alone, but you definitely want to find out more about the other characters!

I love Nora Roberts, but I prefer her tales have a hint of the supernatural in them. This is one of those tales. From ghosts to witches and more, you can\’t go wrong with one of her books. Strong women. Determined men. Good and evil, love and heartache. You will find them all.
