Divided in Death is a suspenseful mystery thriller. It is the 18th chapter of In Death novel series. The book is written by J. D. Robb which is the pen name of the famous American author, Nora Roberts. With her actual name, she used to write pure romance but of different types which could be paranormal, contemporary, young adult, and historical romance. With her pen name, she writes mystery thrillers which also have a good element of romance as well. The best novel from the author so far is Forgotten in Death. You will also find her Faithless in Death novel to be quite a good one.
The narration of this novel is done by Susan Ericksen. She doesn’t seem like the same narrator as in the previous chapters. Anyways, this change in the voice of the narrator was quite fresh and you will love to hear this novel in her voice.

Reva Ewing is an ex-member of the Secret Service and working for Roarke Enterprises as a security specialist. She is a prime suspect in a double murder case. She had every possible intention of killing her husband. He was Blair Bissel, a renowned artist. Not just he was having an affair, he was doing that act with one of her best friends.
Lt. Eve Dallas assigned with this case always believed that Reva Ewing was innocent. But, the complexity of the case makes it so hard for both of them to prove that Reva is innocent.

The book is a superb murder mystery that is quite deep with the characters and their lives depicted in this one. The good narration would make it a very exciting experience for the listeners of this audiobook.
