Diviner\’s Prophecy audiobook free

Summary: A girl gets visions of the future and finds herself at the center of dangerous political games. Additional Comments: • No ending. The end is more like the ent of Act 1. Large portions of the story are therefore unresolved. • Characters are okay. Maea\’s powers are cool. I loved Princess Sabine. • Plot kind of meandered. The beginning didn\’t make much sense. Johai and the lady stole her memories? Why? • The thing with the handsome prince didn\’t seem to make much sense either. One second she\’s appalled by his casual sex with a lady during a party. And the next she\’s inextricably attracted to him. • The end twist was decently handled. Conclusion: The beginning of a much longer tale that doesn\’t really hold up on its own, but if you\’re willing to read the whole trilogy, it offers a lot of magic and political intrigue. *I received a free copy of the audio version, please excuse the spelling. I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. The narrator almost made me want to stop listening but I plodded on. The first three chapters did not make me feel any better but still, I continued to listen. I was not sure if I was in the past or the present in several scenes. Her memory was taken away. Then she was called by a woman in a dungeon, then suddenly she awakens in the arms of a man she does not like but keeps carrying her. What? Yet I continued to listen until the end and was angry by then because nothing was resolved. At least some part of the plot should have been resolved in my mind. I thought I was missing something but no, it just ended. I guess in order to understand some of the things going on I will have to listen to book two. Can I say this? I hate cliffhangers. Even if it is a series each book should resolve something and end so that it can be a stand alone. A mind good enough to create a book is good enough to end it on a note that leads to the next book but makes this one stand on its own.

Audiobook Diviner\’s Prophecy by Nicolette Andrews

Diviner’s Prophecy by Nicolette Andrews is book one in the Diviner’s Trilogy that I listened to on audio narrated by Anna Castigloni. This book is outside my usual reading genre but I did enjoy it and look forward to reading book two Diviner’s Curse. I did find the story to be a bit slow, but Nicolette did pull me in and I had to know how it was going to end. Anna did a great job narrating. I enjoyed the different voices she used for the different characters. I cannot wait to find other projects that she has worked on. The book does end on a cliffhanger. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Fantasy or Royal storylines.

Audio Diviner\’s Prophecy narrated by Anna Castiglioni

I received this audio book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review Maea is a prophetic seer who has had her memories removed. She gets ill whenever she tries to divine anything. Johai is her guard and works for Maea’s foster mother. Maea believes that they are evil because she remembers them differently and they keep her confined to her rooms, sometimes locked inside. Maea meets prince Adair who is a womanizer and a sweet-talker. She begins to fall for him. This story contains twists of fate, murder, treachery and unrequited love that leads to anger. The narration is passable. It is just shy of being monotone. I give the narration 3.5 stars.

What a wonderful start to a series! Narrator Anna Castiglioni did an amazing job at transporting the listener into a world full of mystery and politics. I was so engaged throughout the book I just couldn\’t push pause. The characters were so distinct and each had unique qualities. I found myself unable to determine who to trust and who Maea could rely on truly. The setting was vivid and imaginable. I loved all the secrets and intrigue that kept the story flowing and kept the listener curious and always wanting more! I can\’t wait to get my hands on book two.
